I only have like, a dozen choices. I do enjoy this Wrex picture, but I have had it for a while. I wouldnt mind getting a new one.

There's a drop down to go to different sets of profile pics (Neverwinter Nights, Dragon Age, Gift of the Yeti, etc...)



You can also create a character with the Dragon Age Character Creator and upload it to be your profile pic. (You can also do that with characters you create with the actual Dragon Age game, but the Character Creator is free.)

Edit: But the choices are fairly limited. A small range of Bioware characters from various games. And your characters.

I know where the button is at. I know that the choices are limited and grouped into a couple games. Is there no way to use others though? I got a sweet Legion one from masseffect.com and I cant use it here? That doesnt make any sense.

Correct. Registration portraits are forthcoming, supposedly.
