i dont really care what she's wearing. she'd look amazing with anything. all i hope for is that they dont pull off a garrus on her and blow off her beautiful face in half at the beginning of the ME3 ahahah

Don't say that!!! (knock on wood) :crying:

lol, I doubt they'd do that.

Lol, would be funny if there was a high-five interrupt at that end moment. When you do a high-five she yells "YES!" :D

I love it when she shouts "YES" during combat. Sounds like she's really putting some effort into what she's doing and she's getting a real sense of achievement.

Have I already stated how much I loved Yvonne's voice acting in this game? :P

We should write a Miranda romance guide.

Hmm, interesting. How do you suggest we go about that?

Well, just sort of how many separate conversations you can have with her aboard the Normandy, how often, and what each dialog tree can lead to. I know a lot of people (including myself) missed the option to kiss her, and I didn't get it until I really started playing with the dialog tress.

"Wait a minute. Are you jealous?!"

I love Meer's delivery there.

Yes! she truly did an outstanding job. I truly believed every level of emotion her character was showing throught the game. when she was sad, i tried to comfort for her. when she was angry, i fought with her. it was very intense. the good news is her face is labeled on the character so she HAS to be back for ME3!! I'm gonna have to stalk her imdb profile from time to time....

I liked her work in Mass Effect more than in Chuck. Then again, when she's on Chuck my virtual alter ego can't have virtual sex with her virtual alter ego, so i may be a tad biased.

You better delete your browser history. Who knows what might happen if your girl finds out. :P

But seriously, I didn't know who she was until I played this game. After this, I just had to check out Chuck.

Guess up until now I had been pretty busy watching Tricia Helfer (EDI).  Big Battlestar Galactica fan.

I watch way too many TV series...

This might sound random, but did you ever watch that old Hercules show, with Kevin Sorbo? Lol I have so many memories watching that. I don't know why but I used to LOVE that show

Actually, this game got me into Firefly (seeing Baldwin in the Stars of ME 2 trailer), and then Firefly got me into Chuck.

Absolutely agree with this.

Wha... wait, Shepard gets to kiss her before the Core room scene?!?

How the hell did I miss that?!? :crying:

PS: I know I'm overdoing it with the emoticons, but what the hell, it's 3 am here.

Hehe, well, when you know when two options saying "I'm admiring it right now" (pertaining to her body) and the other on the bottom that says "You're jealous??", pick that lol.

When you're having the conversation where she apoligzes for under estimating your resolve, choose the "You're jealous." option when it shows up (it's when she gets off the couch and walks over to the window).

IMO, the real BSG fan service moment was Colonel Tigh as C-Sec.

I liked Miranda a lot too. I'll be honest, because she's modelled upon Yvonne Strahotski she is obviously going to be hot, but she to me combines strength with vulnerability. She's... human. Genetically she may be 'perfect' but she has doubts and insecurities that she has walled up around her. It was also fun for my Shepherd to systematically break them down with a sledgehammer too.

i was entirely opposed to her at first, and then slowly started to like her character a lot. she's awesome. i love how her loyalty slowly shifts from cerberus to shepard. it speaks levels about her.

It does, I think it also speaks levels about Shepherd too. For good or ill, Shepherd is incredibly charismatic. I think it blew TIM out of the water that in a relatively short period of time, he managed to convert two of his best agents (romancing Ms. Lawson in the process), garned complete control of a multi-billion dollar credit super-frigate and converted it's entire crew compliment (Not a single case of someone attempting to prevent his mutiny).

I would think that TIM should of been a bit more careful, because Shepherd did the same with both the council and the system's alliance two years beforehand!

I totally agree.

I didn't know ahead of time that he was gonna be in the game as a VA, so when I stepped into the C-sec office and heard him, I was floored. I knew Tricia Helfer was gonna be doing some voice acting, which I thought was cool, but hearing his voice just was pretty awesome. He fit that character perfectly, and I really liked his part in Thane's mission.

And yes, I agree, the VA for Miranda did a pretty good job.

Also, I'm pleased to see this thread still going.

Had already seen Firefly, Jayne is cool. Remember Vera?

Didn't watch much Hercules or Xena, the whole cheesy vibe of both shows just wasn't my cup of tea. Though I've been watching and enjoying Legend of the Seeker by the same producer (Sam Raimi).

I did enjoy Andromeda with Sorbo.

Yvonne is great in Chuck, but I miss the accent.

I ended up liking Miranda, initially she seemed like a puppet; but later on she started to show an independent streak which made her much more likeable, such as when she signaled the alliance after Jacob's loyaltly mission.

The manner in which she invokes her professionalism to conceal her feelings both from others and from herself made her particularly appealing to fans of stoicism such as myself.  I also really enjoyed her loyalty mission since it was one of the few happy endings in ME2 and after so many missions with bittersweet or downright sour endings, it was nice to play the white knight for a little while.  And of course the fact that she looks and sounds like Yvonne Strahovski definitely helped her case.  Plus if you're a soldier her set of combat powers are incredibly useful.

My only real complaint is about her as a love interest.  She's hot as hell; but I'm kind of a romantic and I missed the more loving tone of the romance with Liara in ME1.

Regardless, I definitely want to see her return in ME3.

Well, it's thanks to people like you Emperor and others who continue to contribute. Glad to see everyone getting along and flames are no where near so to speak.

Also, what the HELL was I thinking. This thread needs a dedicated Yvonne pic, NOW.

Did anyone notice their behaviour in combat changed when Miranda was in your party (eg. always reviving her immediately)?
