Yes, well tying her up and all those spankings will do that... not to mention those clamps. Tact and grace, tact and grace... then you pounce.
...>_>...
Oooooh tact. Right! I knew I was doing something wrong.... haha
Seriously, I'm on my second playthrough - just finished talking to the Illusive man for the first time and she's already being mean... what did I do wrong?! ::cry::
Well you're not even on the Normandy yet, she doesn't warm up until after the loyalty mission, really. But even after the first mission she seems more personable. You are playing with dudeshep, right?
Actually I'm playing femshep... I know Miranda's not an LI but it would be nice if she was at least friendly... haha. I think she's a great character! She was great on the first playthough around the time of her loyalty mission, like you said, but there was NO making up for defending Jack. If you side with Miranda on that one, will Jack drop loyalty? Or is there a way to Paragon-reason-with-them so they both stay loyal, like you can with Legion and Tali?

Yes it works the exact same way.

True, but then again if she spoke with her accent, part of me'd be like "Wait, where's Shepard? I see Miranda but no Shepard." With her American Accent, I'm like "Hey, Sarah just kicked that dude in the face, awesome!"
Might just be me though.

K. I'll wait to deal with them and their loyalty missions until I have more paragon points built up then. Thanks.

Like I've said before, I hope we get more dialogue pertaining to their relationship. More of their relationship period would be great. I just want them to act like a couple if you choose that route, you know?
I'd also like to see more about her past, perhaps learn more about her father or what she went through.
There's more, but I won't get too wordy. For now. I'd like to hear what the rest of you want.

It would be more like 'wait, why did Miranda dye her hair blonde?'

Yeah, who ever you side with, the other drops loyalty. Thats why it better to have a high Paragon/ Renegade so you can be neutral, and keep them both loyal. Haven't aplyed as a femshep but I heard Miranda isn't a "personable" with one.

Alright this is pathetic. The guy learns Kung Fu, kicks people's asses and they STILL find a way to bring back down a notch and make him look like a loser. For CRYING OUT LOUD this is torture.
Well yeah, they gotta keep him humble somehow. Would Chuck still be Chuck if he was some badass spy? I don't think so, he'd be Bryce Larkin.
Edit: Damn this thread is fast, I need to remember to keep hitting F5 every 30 seconds..

Ok, so aside from a dominatrix scene, what do you guys hope to see for Miranda and/or her relationship with Shep in ME3?

I would like a continuation on her family quest, I would like for us to continue with her as my XO and develop their professional as well as personal relationship.
I always love the little pow wow scenes between missions in both games I just wish they were a bit more involved.
But I know that would sort of make the third game's driving motor be she and Shepard's relationship and that just wouldn't work.

I would be very happy with the culmination of the relationship - maybe the ending scene of ME3 is with you and your LI relaxing on a beach or whatnot, something that shows just how strong the relationship.
Throw in a celebratory wedding scene and I'll be happy.

Guess that would make sense... there's sex appeal between manshep (haha that sounds weird) and Miranda, and not so much with femshep. We know she and Jacob have a past... maybe she's jealous or afraid that something will develop between femshep and Jacob. I didn't develop that (holding out for Kaidan), but... could be the source of tension?

Well sure, but I'd like to see him at least gradually become...a badass <_<
I just hate for him to be static....ok I'm just tired of not seeing him and Sarah together. Meh

This. However my main concern for the third one is that the whole "Reapers killing everyone" threat will kind of put any LI advancement on the back burner.

I was a bit upset when I got to the point of "I'll come by when things are quiet" roadblock before the suicide mission - and a little peeved that I'm still getting it AFTER the mission.
I would love to continue having conversations with her - maybe flirtatious ones or professional ones. I would also love to see more of those little 1 on 1 scenes. The sitting on the couch and lying on the bed scenes were brilliantly added in my opinion - but I would love to see more.
There's two wine glasses on the table - why not have a romantic dinner?
Personal bathroom - steamy shower, anyone?
Maybe it's just me - but I'm looking forward to anything that'll help us expand and develop the relationship.
