Also, I'm pleased to see this thread still going.

Well, it's thanks to people like you Emperor and others who continue to contribute. Glad to see everyone getting along and flames are no where near so to speak.

Also, what the HELL was I thinking. This thread needs a dedicated Yvonne pic, NOW.

Did anyone notice their behaviour in combat changed when Miranda was in your party (eg. always reviving her immediately)?

She was always in my party for EVERY mission so combat never changed. But I revived her everytime, and her warp and overload saved my ass many, many, times.

By the way, where are you guys watching the episodes online. I'm trying to find them but I can't seem to pinpoint a good site.

C-Sec Tigh is instantly recognizable. Beyond the voice, it's the timing of his words. Tigh was my second favorite character in BSG after the Old Man. Now there was a true Bromance.

Regarding the kiss scene, yeah, I chose to admit I liked admiring her body. Hey, I like to be honest. Guess that screws me sometimes...

Well, I did wait for Miranda's cooldowns to Slam the last, defenseless enemy (instead of killing him in a million other ways...)

Slam's not the best ability (it's not even Miranda's best ability), but it's one of the coolest.

I have to admit... I went into this game fully expecting to dislike Miranda, but she's grown on me.

I'm constantly hitting shift to see if her cooldown period is over to use Warp and Overload. She's pretty good at using her powers by herself though. I play a Vanguard (love my Charge, Shockwave and Pull) and I never leave the Normandy without her.

I think her skill set is useful in any situation. I also like to "admire her body" whenever I can so...

Well fellow loyalists, it's 3:40 am here so I'm gonna to have to go. Have fun.

That's a tough one to me. On one hand, the hand cannon is pretty powerful, does a lot of damage, but she always seems more capable with the submachine gun. She fires off more shots with it. In my experience, I go with the submachine gun.

Not going to lie, when I initially got ME2 - I only had intentions to romance Miranda because of her looks.

Yes, I know - I'm shallow.

But as the game progressed, I was pleasantly surprised at how much of a character she really was. I think a lot of people went into this game with pre-conceptions. A genetically modified "perfect" woman? I can understand why many people hated her based off of that - but Bioware did a really good job with giving her depth.

Romancing her actually felt real as well. You had to go through the realization that you are both going into the suck - but you're still developing feelings for each other. Compared to Ashley, who's romance conversation was a joke (five conversations than my horn gets tooted to a barely PG sex scene? Gee - that's great.)

Miranda also compliments Shepard really well. She's strong - which means she can stand for herself. Shepard doesn't need a woman who needs saving 24/7. She's intelligent - which I think the Lazarus project is enough to say about her level of intellect.

All in all - this character was really well done, and I'll agree that she compliments Shepard amazingly. Looking forward to see her in ME3 - hopefully as a romance..

Better happen too.. seeing as I did a whole playthrough of ME1 just to have a bromance with Kaiden so I wouldn't have any consequences about cheating on Ashley.
