I agree with you both, andy and Com. Obviously there will be repercussions for cheating, but the devs never explicitly stated whether or not your new LI would actually be confronted. I could definitely see Ashley getting into it with Miranda, but I don't know about Liara. It didn't even seem like she cared about Shep anymore. And she's not the confrontational type. Well, she wasn't in ME1. I guess that's changed.

And I'm sure if Jack comes back there will be many more disagreements between the two. I just hope I can side with Miranda without some giant repercussion like in ME2. I  mean, really, is it so bad that my Shep wants to side with his girlfriend?

See I was going to go read a book, but you brought up Jack, and now I have to trot out my Jack-and-Miranda-are-really-similiar theory. They both have the same fundamental characteristic: they've both been treated mostly as objects or tools, and they both avoid intimacy. Miranda's been treated better overall because she's a particularly VALUABLE tool, but she's not really valued for the person she is. Jack is a test subject for Cerberus, and when she escapes the people she falls in with don't seem to quite realize that they have the most powerful human biotic. All Jack's 'friends' try to use her, and end up betraying her in the end.

And both of them, as a result, avoid relationships and intimacy. They have different strategies for doing so. For Miranda's it's her icey demeanour ("I'm not looking for a friend", she says almost right when you meet her.) Jack, on the other hand, approaches sex casually, using physical intimacy to avoid emotional intimacy.

There's clearly a major difference of degree; Miranda's father didn't treat her well, but it's a far cry from the lab where Jack was kept. And whatever Miranda had with Niket and Jacob was a lot more stable, normal, and healthy then almost any relationship Jack ever had. But still, I feel like the two characters have a lot in common. (Which might be part of why they intuitively dislike each other.)

Ok. Time for a topic that benefits our cause and doesn't make shinobi feel sad.

Do you guys think Miranda will have any meaningful dialogue with other crew members in ME3? (aside from Jacob)

It would be interesting to see some stuff between her and Jack that doesn't involve flying furniture, theres alot of room there I think for them to atleast become a little more civil to eachother.

I predict a full on fight between them in ME3, shepard will be able to bet on winner as will the rest of the crew.

Lol. That would be brilliant. I would love to see that. But then again, I would also love to see them finally see eye-to-eye. They are alike in a lot of ways. Maybe after they brawl they'll bond. I could live with that. Posted Image

Of course this fight would take on Omega, where it would be available on pay per view via extranet

I've always felt they were similar because of obvious reasons (genetically enhanced, emotionally unavailable, agressive[each in their own way]), but you word it so perfectly. You've really nailed it on the head. Bravo, Com. I almost feel like this should be saved somewhere important for others to see.

Good idea, however due to inflation and lack of reliable source of cheese, this nacho party would cost both
shepard and miranda a years pay, i recomend asking zaeed and legion to chip in for the party.

Night Noverian!

@andy, Deadpool is the greatest comic book character imo. He kind of blurs the lines between good and evil. And funny as well. Definitely worth a look up.

Anyway, back to Miranda..... I know everyone wants her to get armor in ME3, but I... I liked the outfit. It was like, yeah. She's so badass she doesn't NEED armor. It also looked way better than armor. But that's just me.

Cooler than...Rorshach?

I also don't want Miranda in armour, it would be weird, plus she would have to hide the gifts that God...err...science gave her.

I wouldn't have a problem with Miranda is she wasn't so damned useless. Everything she touches turns to crap. She is absolutely no good during the final mission.

Rorshach is pretty BA, but I think Deadpool has him beat.

On the topic of Miranda with armor, I could see her wearing some light, form fitting armor, think along the lines of  Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, for those of you who've played it. However, I would do absolutely no complaining at all if she had her same outfit as she did in ME2.

I feel like her ME2 outfits work best. I could see them being redisgned a little bit, but they fit the character's 'look' so well, it's hard to complain.

It would be nice, though, if Miranda (and other squadmates) had some 'civvies'...(Maybe we'll see her in a cocktail dress in the "Date Night" DLC everyone secretly really wants. I'm just saying certain of her bits got a lot of texture and rendering attention to just use in that one scene!)

I really couldn't answer that one. I like Deadpool a little bit more, mostly because he's more humorous whereas Rorshach... isn't. But I really like Rorshach too. Deadpool is kind of like a mix of Rorshach and the Simpsons to me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't mind her outfits. Earlier there were quite a few people complaining about them. Especially the heels, which I don't get.

cocktail dress, FTW!

That would indicate she was letting her guard down, I would think. She doesn't strike me as having gone out for a night on the town often. Or at all. And that's something I hope my Shep  can change.

Armor would be nice because I often have WTF moments when she gets hit with a rocket...
