Miranda is my favourite. Started hating her and ended up loving her. Shows she had the most depth.

She also had the best powers and I can't help but pick her for every mission on every play through. I really try hard not to pick her, but I always wish she was with me when she's not there.

The only downside is the breathing mask.

I hope she's in ME3

Welcome to the thread!

And the breathing mask bugs me, too. There are lots of situations where you would want to cover your whole face. I imagine the obssessively neat-freak Quarians weren't thrilled about her skin and hair cells floating about one of their liveships.

Hey everyone came to support Miranda, but anyways I don't think that Miranda was tank bred because in her loyalty quest they say that her sister was kidnapped as a baby so I would assume that Miranda was at one point a baby also. No fact behind it just my assumption.

Right. Duh. Good point. It's 1:30 here so I'm not as sharp as usual.

Makes me happy we shot up a bunch of votes after I posted it here. (Tali shot up too...I did sorta steal the link from the Tali thread...)

Anyway, back to Miranda..... I know everyone wants her to get armor in ME3, but I... I liked the outfit. It was like, yeah. She's so badass she doesn't NEED armor. It also looked way better than armor. But that's just me.

"Bulletproof nudity" is a venerable and tested concept of movie-making. ME2 is an interactive movie. Of course it works. Miranda doesn't go quite that far, but the white outfit...

Having said that, something that's a little more like armor would be nice. Yes.

Haha its all cool. 2:30 here but I'm up super playing my insanity run. Of course I have Miranda as a squad mate, the combo of her having warp and overload makes her one of the best squad mates to use.

I commented for Miranda's sake. I'm sure I'll be crispy by the time the Tali fans are through flaming me, but still. It was worth it.

Monkey'd with the front page a bit to make the social group easier to find...(Hey, we're half the size of the Tali group! That's like being half as strong as Superman!)

...why did I do this, lol, the Shi'a Revival isn't reading itself...

That will influence our decisions on the importance of those characters in the ongoing story into Mass Effect 3."

I think it was--or at least, Casey Hudson's sentiment was (and we all cheered, because everyone knows Miranda is an amazing squadmate who will accumulate lots of playtime.). Though the first time I checked it I missed the point about Liara's probable return in ME3. (And the reference to "romances in ME3"....Shepard might need to stay faithful to Miranda from some blonde-haired temptress in the third game!)

I'm sure Miranda is pretty popular with the more casual, mainstream gamers. And therein lies her salvation for a chance at a ME3 squad slot.

We know what squaddie won the hearts and minds of the geeky freaky fringe... Though Mirrers does have her fans around here as well.

Unlike say, poor Jacob, who's chances now look pretty much shot. He doesn't even generate the male geek ire like Kaidan did. Instead he's pretty much ignored by gamers of both genders...

Poor Jacob, I feel so sorry for him. He was all cool and awesome in ME: Galaxy, and in ME2 he's sidelined (even as ME: Galaxy co-star. And although Kaidin did generate some male ire, he certainly has at least something of a fan following. (At least Alistair shows that Bioware can create compelling and popular Male NPCs...)

And I can't help but think how hard it is to get a sense of character popularity. I'd like to think that Miranda has broad mainstream popularity but I have no way of knowing that. (As I've said before, I think she's a strong candidate for an ME3 spot not just based on her popularity, but because she's so tied into ME2, her inclusion would be one of the strongest continuity links with the second game.)

Just thought I'd try something new. I wish the images didn't come out so grainy when they're uploaded.

I like the look of it, but I think it's a little big. (Unless you somehow integrate a link to the social group in it...a lot of people have a Miranda banner and a link to the group, and put together those I think are about as big as that banner.)

Just my opinion, wait for other feedback. I really like the 'pop-out' effect.
