The only reason, in my opinion, why I think people hate Cerberus is because they are the only group where we've seen the darker side of. But every top secret organization has it's dark secrets.

True but Cerberus has no accountability to anybody besides the whims of TIM.  That is what makes it a very dangerous organization, whereas the Council despite all its corruption and inefficiency and political shenanigans is preferable.

That is not to say that Cerberus is all bad.  They certainly have their uses but if TIM were to get his way that would be a very bad thing for the Galaxy.

It's funny the conversation went like this, because this is pretty much exactly a Miranda/Paragon Shep conversation that actually happens. Miranda likens Cerberus to a usual covert ops organization like the Council Spectres or Salarian STGs, and Shepard points out that those organizations are accountable to governments, and Cereberus reports to no one.

That said, it's still an interesting point in a way. We see a lot more of the awful stuff Cerberus does, but it's unlikely they're the only people in the galaxy doing Awful Stuff.

The problem is that before ME: Galaxies it looked like Cerberus ONLY did terrible stuff.  Recently we have seen the organization also do some things anybody with an interest in Galactic Security would agree with.

But I mean they experimented on Thresher Maws by luring Alliance Marines to them and seeing how the Thresher Maws destroyed the unit.  I mean WTH?

I can't take most polls seriously.  It's either the joke topic or some wierd "let's pick the most obscure choice" that ends up screwing with a legitimate vote.  I mean, look at Gfaqs poll and that stupid L block is actually winning rounds again for best character...

Playing the post game... they really need to fix the romance conversations after the end. It needs to have a conversation about where it goes from there and also they simply need to make sure that Miranda doesn't mention that she is tying up loose ends for Cerberus if she has resigned. How did they miss that line?

Maybe she meant making sure the maintenance guys cleaned out her cubical back at Cerberus HQ?

A just vote in every poll for Miranda. Just keep them posted here. Maybe add them to the first post too. :D

Well, another issue is that there's dozens of polls going on simultaneously, so it's hard to feel like any one is definitive (except polls from the top-level bioware.com domain name.)

Haven't seen that one before - she was in BSG?

Anyway, assuming you played as MaleShep, can you imagine the hassle for the guys who want to take Shep & Miranda's daughter out on a date?

"...Nè tu finor giammai quel che tu stessa

Inspirasti alcun tempo al mio pensiero,

potesti, Aspasia, immaginar. Non sai

Che smisurato amor, che affanni intensi,

Che indicibili moti e che deliri

Movesti in me; nè verrà tempo alcuno

Che tu l'intenda..."

It's a verse of an Italian poet, Leopardi, a little tribute to lady Strahovski.

Miranda for me it's the best character, she's very similar to Triss Merigold.

They are risolute, they are devoted to a cause (cerberus, the lobby of mage) and they live for their cause, but at the same time they have something melancholy in their nature, something difficult to explain with words. their sweeter appearance emerge only towards the man who loves losing all barriers

That guy is so screwed.

Of course - that brings up another question;

Can Miranda even reproduce?

Sure, her father wanted to start a dynasty, right?
Btw the picture you draw made me laugh (I'm a proud father myself too)

Talk about first-date introduction, lol.
And what are your dad & mom do for living?
My father is the first human Specter, died once, but mom resurected him. You know they stopped the Reapers and saved the galaxy from certain destruction. They are a bit overprotective, but you will be fine.

considering she was "cloned"...it seems likely that even if she was sterile, there'd exist the technology to combine the DNA of hers with Shepard's.

Mordin - ranking officer in the STG - modified the genophage to nearly destroy the krogan - and firmly believed what he was doing -was right-.

The krogan were a galactic threat, dont forget that...
A killed admiral...
Rachni experiments.
Marines as test subjects to study thresher maws.Yes,sure, only rogue cells.
What those people did that is was worth to kill them???
It doesnt even matter if "Tim" really controlled cerbrus or not.One possibility: If he control it, he and a lot of people of his organisation are scum.
If he doesnt control it,the result is the same, and he is just a bad leader or dont really care.
But the worth of this organisation stayed the same.
I believe that the first is true.Without a strong organisation he couldnt got the money and tech to build something expensive like the normandy. And there are just to much "errors" in his organisation so i doubt that there are just random.
