I don't have any friend requests :(

That DLC seems interesting. The explanation didn't really sell it well, but I can understand where he/she's coming from, and I like the idea.

One thing I really would have liked in the game (or in future content) is more romance outside the Normandy. Imagine how awesome it would be if Shepard and Miranda shared a brief yet passionate kiss if you pick Miranda for the second fire team, or leave her to hold the door. One thing I remember from the launch trailer is that when they showed Tali falling and Shepard jumping after her, he yelled "Tali!". It would have been good if this were included in the game for love interests (Shepard yelling their name as they slip, that is).

One thing I really liked in the suicide mission was if you choose Garrus for second fire team, when he has his "I'm okay" moment, Shepard pats him on the arm. It was really fitting thing considering their relationship. If it were, say, Miranda though, I would like to see perhaps a more affectionate gesture than a simple pat on the arm.

You know what would be an extremely powerful scene would be Shepard carrying a wounded Miranda back to the Normandy. I would probably cry.

what's that about? some bots trolling for some info? i would expect one of you to send an FR but someone I've never spoken to? it's just weird to me.

so I just ignore them... unless they can actually send a message saying 'hey, saw your post on blah blah blah, want to be friends' type deal, fergit it!

XD

That's so weird. Maybe they really like the pictures you post of Miranda.

I too enjoyed Bring Down the Sky for what it was- a decent 1-2 hour quest with a decent moral conundrum. Pinnacle Station on the other hand....

I would love subtle changes to show more affection between Shepard and Miranda. You'd think after spending an evening together the night before - they'd be a bit more passionate towards one another in the suicide mission.

But then, Miranda is the type of woman who focuses on the mission - so I guess it's understandable.

Oh god please don't create images of my poor Miranda being dead..noooooooo >.<

I agree Toshi. Just the small things can be so powerful. As for the DLC, it would add lots of replayability after the suicide mission, not to mention more squad relationship depth.

Good for mindless combat... days when I'm in a terrible mood I love going into survival and killing things for hours.  I tend to last a long, long time when I'm pissed off too.  Record is somewhere around 3 or so hours before I got bored.

I'm so not even reading that last part because Miranda is alive and well and that's how it should be.

As for the rest of your post, I totally agree. I actually hadn't thought of anything like that, but that's a brilliant idea.

i've had a scene where tali gets a shot to the head (after being the loyal specialist with a disloyal jacob leading the other team)...and dies on the floor with blood pooling around her head. i felt a little sick. i wonder how it'd feel if that was a miranda...

i would probably reload.

I actually lost, I think it was 5 people on my latest playthrough. Zaeed, Jack, Mordin (I was surprised by this), Thane, and Grunt. I found it quite fulfilling, actually. I always feel sad when i walk into the tech lab, or see the green panel on the life support room.

I'm going to try to engineer an ideal ending for myself sometime before ME 3. I think at least a few will be dying. I especially like the idea of Thane dying. It's not that I don't like him, in fact I liked him quite a bit. I just find it really sad. Him and Mordin are the only ones that I'm really sad when they die, but that I'm also willing to lose. I would never let Miranda or Garrus die.

Toshi - I myself have been working on trying to tailor my "perfect" story for Mass Effect 3.

Mainly trying to get the most that I can out of the original Mass Effect. I can't play anything but a Earthborn/Sole/Soldier combo. It just appeals to me the most.

What I am trying to do is try to tailor the decisions I make in both games to ultimately provide myself a sense of fulfillment. I'm willing to let a few members of the team - Jack, especially - fail during the suicide mission.

Edit;

In regards to my earlier question - I think it'd be safe to assume that as soon as she was "made" - she was working for her father. Everything she was doing/going through was towards the advancement of him.

What I was asking was - what finally opened her eyes? Do you guys think her father constantly reminded her of her purpose? Or did someone inform her?

I finally made one forced "bad" decision in my latest Miri run... I had her do the biotic tunnel and... Thane, poor Thane. I was too afraid to do the other random points because I did not want to lose Tali, Garrus, or Mordin on that run. What's bad, is I keep hoping Zaaede takes one to the face... I hate that guy.

thane gets it if miranda is in the tunnel? that's weird, as long as you have jacob or garrus lead the diversionary team you should still be okay

I'm in the same boat also with the perfect story for ME3. I can't play anything besides a Space/hero/Soldier. It'll be great when ME3 comes out to see the final project of the Shepard's we have created.

If I still had a working xbox *sniffle* I would do a playthrough with Miranda as my biotic specialist just so my Shep could carry her for a second. I'd take Zaeed and Jack so I wouldn't really care when one of them died (preferably Zaeed).

That was my only casualty. It was between Zaaede, Thane, and Samara to be in the knowingly random death group since I knew Miri wouldn't hold. I might be able to work up the courage enough to actually do a 3 or 4 loss run, but it is just really, really, REALLY difficult.

I brought disloyal Zaeed to the final fight (concussive blast is actually quite useful on those platforms). He died and Miranda and I ran back to the ship.

I want to do an ending (if it's possible, probably isn't) where Garrus is left alone to hold the door. That would be epic seeing him fight off all those Collectors.

Becuase we all know Garrus would be able to hold that damn door all by himself - while seducing a Yvonne Strahovski - baking himself a delicious batch of brownies - AND while writing a masterpeice and painting the Mona Lisa.

It's alright, Meg.. now, now.

My worry about doing that though is if it weakens her for the final run thing. After her biotic power being exhausted from that - will she survive a pillar landing on top of her?

Meh i let everyone live. I'm Paragon like that *grins* (Though i do dislike Jack, also Zaeed is more of an ''aqquired'' taste, after the loyalty mission (Paragon choice) he's pretty cool.)

She was fine on my playthrough.

Also, did you guys hear about how the game decides who survives the holding the door part? It's nuts how in-depth it is.
