Shep - "What!? Not like he'd be going after it with YOU... unless he wants to end up spaced. Do you know what that feeling is like, Johnny?"
Johnny - "N-no, sir."
Shep - "I -do-."

Genius Rathias, utter genius.

I hate Zaaede because he is shallow as a squaddie with one moment that just pisses me off. Jack, romanced as a paragon, is actually endearing.

i've had a scene where tali gets a shot to the head (after being the loyal specialist with a disloyal jacob leading the other team)...and dies on the floor with blood pooling around her head. i felt a little sick. i wonder how it'd feel if that was a miranda...

i would probably reload.

I really don't get why some of you don't choose (loyal) Miranda to lead both fireteams. She's the best leader in the game after Shep. I always use her as the second leader, then take her as squad mate to the endgame and never lost anyone.

Even the first time I played, I thought she was the obvious choice for second team leader.

Yep.  But most of us are talking about intentionally sinking certain choices to get deaths.  It's hard.

I didn't expect to like her, but I adore her. I really relate to her a lot.

I didn't choose her because I was scared she would die. I figured if I had her right there next to me she'd be safe. I chose Garrus for the first team, and then I wanted to bring Garrus with me at the biotic escort part (I chose Samara), so I chose Thane to lead the team.

It was incredible how on edge I was for that entire mission. You can tell Bioware really wanted to mess with us.

The reason why I don't choose her to lead the fireteams is because I'd rather keep her by my side and at all times - I'm protective like that.

I don't want to upset anyone or anything, but has anyone actually had Miri ... erm..."depart" in the final mission? It'll be good to know so i can avoid it in my future play throughs. (sorry if this has already been brought up -- there are a lot of pages to read through!)

I wish Miranda and femshep could have a much more close friendship in place of a romance. So instead of ME3 carrying through a love interest that whole dynamic could instead be a best friend.

it goes: tech, biotic, then combat

the reason mordin died on my first time through was because i lost thane early on. so when i took miranda and grunt with me on the final boss and sent zaeed back to the normandy my "combat" team was pretty thin

legion, samara, tali, garrus, jack, jacob and mordin (only 2 or 3 real combat specialists in that group). thus the rearguard took a beating and mordin died

Haha I did the same thing. I let Garrus stay as squad leader both times.

If you want Miranda to survive - some tips;

She is a great fireteam leader.

She is decent at the biotic shield - you will lose someone if she does it though.

She is not good at holding the line.

If you want her to live - either have her lead the fireteams, and then join you for the final run.

Well, actually I think it's disloyal, tech, biotic, then combat.

Man, I really want to see Garrus sort of be the last man standing at that part. That would be so freaking epic!

That it would. Just a scene of Garrus holding the line as the Collectors just keep pouring in. Epicness.

Yeah, I understand that feeling, but I still decided to trust her abilities. And it pays off, she's a great leader.

Though I was scared ****less when she got shot as the others were closing the door. Even after she just shrugged it off and said she was fine, I was like "Bioware, you bastards, you almost gave me a heart attack".

Even knowing that they survive, whenever Garrus or Miri gets hit there my heart stops. I am certain that is the 1 in a thousand chance where Bioware just ignores your hard work and kill that character... I think I'd probably snap if it actually happened.

Just watch, soon I'll breeze through there, expecting nothing and suddenly, BLAM.. UGH... "MIRI!!!!" and then the sound of my body hitting the floor from the heart attack.

I had her make the biotic field, but Shepard seems like a huge douche when he orders her to get the door open.
