Done and done - interested in seeign the results of it.
I know Miranda has actually begun to pick up some pace in regards to the popularity comparison between Tali and her.

I am not so much interested in beating out Tali but rather making sure the Devs know that Miranda is a character people like if that sort of thing influences their plans for the future.
This, I could care less about Tali and their fans, I just want Bioware to know that there are lots of Miri fans out there.

ME3 is in development right now. No amount of posting on these boards will change anything BW plans to do with any character. I believe that is a good thing, since Miranda is coming back 100%. She was used in all the advertisements and customers connect her to the Mass Effect Franchise.
that implies thane and grunt will be back as well?

There was an interview with Casey Hudson a few days ago on destructoid where he said they were gathering data on the players to see which characters should have a larger role in ME3
EDIT: here is the interview and the quote http://www.destructo...ns-163035.phtml
"One thing we’re going to keep an eye on is how people make use of each of the characters in Mass Effect 2. That will influence our decisions on the importance of those characters in the ongoing story into Mass Effect 3."

Eh...I don't know. It is plainly obvious that Bioware listened to the feedback from ME1 when doing ME2, they even make jokes about it in ME2. I think they still could tweak some things.

Wish I had your confidence, Errol. Still, it seems unlikely they'd throw a fan favorite like her aside.
Well, at least you know she's going to be in the game in some capacity. In all honesty I'm expecting a cameo appearance like Ash, Kaiden and Liara were in ME 2, but I'm hoping for a chance to put her back in my squad.
I like to call it being cautiously optimistic.

I think that situation is different because they are setting you up for the ME2 LIs to return in ME3. Since ME3 is the last game they cannot really do that in the case of the ME2 LIs.

I´m no native english speaker, but i think this is what i actually wanted to say.
I imagine it this way:
BW planed to include Miranda in ME3 from the beginning. They now noticed that the customers liked the character and have therefore decided to give her more dialogues, (100 planed -> changed to 120) or make more after action cutscenes in the briefing room with her.
But i cant imagine, that BW will "throw away" or include characters, because they dont have as large fan groups as others.

Yeah, I also just want to make sure that Bioware gives us Miranda as a squad mate and love interest in ME3 and use her a lot in future DLC.

Don't jinx it, Odin.

I think Casey Hudson's quote pretty much says it all, add Miri to your squad a lot and romance her on your playthroughs since they are keeping tabs on us and she'll probably be back

I hope so... I'd surely buy dlc just for Miranda in it.
ME 3 better let me have her in my squad.
I'm sorry but she was the most helpful of all.
Every playthrough to date I have to at least have Miranda in my party at all times.
Her powers really keep the game in check for how a battle could turn out.
She was the most useful of all the squadmates.
Her overload and warp are the best when in battle they are unmatched in my opinion.
I even enjoy her slam ability.
I use that slam a lot with Samara's throw or Samara's Reave.

Wow taking statistics from people actually playing the game rather than simply the loudmouths here on the forums eh? What sort of bizarre and heretical idea is that?
Big brother Casey is watching me.
That is actually good news for us. I bet alot of casual players take her along just to look at her...um...assets.

I know... its only the people that can whine the loudest that deserve their needs met, we should burn them all for this heretical idea of actually listening to normal people!!!

Even though I really want Miri in my squad for ME3 I could accept her not being as long as she appears numerous times throughout the game with lots of dialogue and character development. And of course, a nice end to the romance scenario.

I've done multiple runs through the game now, and I find myself unable to try other romances because I like miranda to much. Tried tali on one just to see how it played out, but the other 4 have been miranda.
So to sum it up, I am for seeing miranda in future dlc and me3. She is great.
