I don't want another new cast of characters. There are already too many - I think ME3 should largely concentrate on wrapping the existing characters' stories up instead of making new ones. As for Miranda, if her role in ME3 is as Garrus' is in ME2, that'd be OK. His story and missions are about as long as Miranda's and he's romanceable, he only doesn't have much of a role in the main plotline.

Preferable, of course, would be a bigger role.

And if Miranda dies at the end of ME2, I want a Lazarus Project for her. Really, it would only be fitting!

It would actually be interesting to see BW have your squad from both ME1 and ME2 return to be in your squad in ME3, but only according to who survived up until the end of ME2. So, for example, if everyone survived the suicide mission, then they would all return to be in your squad in ME3, or if certain squadmates died then they wont return (obviously). Plus, Ashley/Kaidan, Liara, and Wrex (if he lived on Virmire) would return, making a total possible 14 squadmates (including Zaeed). And maybe BW would introduce a couple new characters for your squad. This would also make sure players get the best outcomes from ME1 and ME2. If most of your squad dies in ME2, then expect a small squad in the 3rd installment. Just an idea.

Not saying this will happen, nor do I think it will, but it would certainly be interesting to see this squad member outcome for ME3 nonetheless.

Hell yeah, my Shepard could it fund it once he claims back the 999999999 credits he had at the end of ME1. I just hope it doesn't take 2 years, 12 days. The world can't survive without Miri for that long.

Commenting on Miranda romance and Tali's romance from several pages ago--as everyone pointed out, it comes down to personal taste. There's no in-game bonus or benefit to any romance sub-plot, so it's a pure roleplaying decision who you end up with. And, as I've said before, the LIs are structured to cater to different tastes.



I think at least some of the appeal of Tali's relationship is that she's from the first game, so it feels more like a friendship that grew into something more. And it is a cute scene where she admits to crushing on you for a long time. (I sorta wish it wasn't the FIRST thing she brought up after her loyalty mission, if only because it doesn't seem to leave much for to be discussed in the other conversations.)



As everyone has said, however, the relationship with Miranda feels like a relationship between equals. There's affection and warmth in the Talimance, but it lacks romantic tension. The Miranda romance just feels more grown-up to me.
