If some people want to put all their energy into hating a character, I suppose that's their business. The internet is filled with hatred anyway....in Ghostbusters 2, the main evil villain is powered by the hatred of the city of New York. If the movie was made today, it would be powered by hatred on the internet.


And am I the only one who has a hard time watching youtube videos because hearing Mark Meer's voice come out of some other Shepard just feels...weird?

And re: Leaving ME1 LI...as I dicussed in my original post, I wasn't planning on it. Even after Horizon I thought Ash's email was pretty sweet. (And, it's not like I was thrilled about working for Cerberus either.) And leaving her for Miranda was a tough choice for me. (Took all of five minutes to decide to cure the Krogan Genophage, but agonized over this, lol.) Hoping for some satisfying drama in ME3 (and I hope the Ash fans who stuck with her get the Big Reunion scene they want, too.)

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. My older brother started a playthrough and I find it really weird to hear my Shepard's voice while seeing a different face.

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. My older brother started a playthrough and I find it really weird to hear my Shepard's voice while seeing a different face.

yeah I always use default Shep. I'm not that good at making a good face it always looks too goofy. Anyway with all the trailers and stuff i find it just more ''movieish'' to keep default shep

Lol, I know. That's why I always use the default Shepard. Plus I think he looks good anyway, and I always relate the voice to his face, so yea, it does sound weird lol.

It doesn't really bother me personally. I made my own Shepard so the videos aren't really a problem, but I understand your point.

Sorta wish we get steal those 8 pages of responses for this thread....a good chunk of that thread is "You're wrong, Miranda is awesome." And there were earlier Miranda threads, too...getting a character thread started takes a little luck. (My Mordin thread didn't go nearly so well as this one...maybe time to bump it? Or maybe only so many character threads can exist on the front page at once?)

I'll give the Tali people this, they're damned well organized. That's one character's return in ME3 that seems pretty safe. (And good. I want at least one squadmate across all three games.)

this forum is crazy all the threads on the first page have 1 min old last posts. WE need to keep this thread alive! i'll be sure to bump it every chance i get...

from what i remember it IS Yvonne's face but with the shorter dark hair and all the makeup she is barely recognizable. +1 Miranda

Miranda's Butt... Is out of this world. Nuff said. I love her. I'm playing through part one again, just so I don't get with Ash, so I can have Miranda at a clean slate. She's gonna be my Space Boo Fo Lyph, yo!

I only got a glimpse of her sister, but they looked nothing alike...the face wasn't as detailed.
