I think a lot of the other fan communities take inspiration from the Tali community in a way. Everyone knows she was really popular in the first game, and lots of people think that's why she was back in ME2 as an LI. It's like the Tali community has shown us what's potentially possible.
I'm pretty sure I didn't eat for a good 27 hours. I think everyone in our Steam chat said I was speaking of unspeakable things. I also was apparently singing and talking about fries and A1 sauce.
I hope so, I'm not the original OP, in fact I haven't seen him in a while, but I've been around since page 13 and it's nice to have a bunch of people around me who feel the same way I do. We enjoy every minute we have of our nonstop posting (I myself have been reading more due to an essay I've been writing but I'm happy to say I've read every one of the 800+ pages. It's just a bunch of us getting together and having fun with something we love, getting really creative in the process. Read what The_KFD_Case had to say about Tali (It's so mighty I put it in the OP) and that pretty much just sums up about everyone's feelings about her.
I remember what The_KFD_Case said about Tali--when he originally posted it it was directed at me, LOL. And a 'bunch of people getting together and having fun with something we love' should be at the core of any fan community. I think that's what haters of any character don't get--it's more fun to take joy from something then it is to get upset about it.
Sorta wondering--if you're going to be the OP for Tali Love 3.0 (if so, keep up the great work!) or let someone else take over for a well-earned rest?
