I agree wholeheartedly andy. I do think the series is doing this on purpose though to show how much more significant and natural the relationship between Chuck and Sarah is/was compared to these new people who don't see each other for what they are. That's what Chuck and Sarah always had and always will.

Well they have to stretch that sexual tension out.  If they let it be fulfilled...well that would kill a major part of the show's appeal.

Would it really though? I'm not so sure. I'd rather have them just be together than have it drag on for much longer. I can't believe Chuck had the option to run away with Sarah and he turned her down. He's better man than I.

Oh, absolutely. Somebody needs to plant some kryptonite on Sarah, that should keep Shaw away.  I volunteer.

A better man maybe...a stupid man for sure.

They are not so sure either but generally it is a risk shows do not like taking.  I am of course reflecting on infamous TV romances like on Friends where they drew out the freaking main couple for all ten seasons and finally had them get together at the very last episode.
