It's also interesting looking at the data. People are pretty happy with Wrex's treatment in ME2. The ME1 LIs...not so much.

The whole reason ME1 LI's were only given a cameo in ME2 was because BW couldn't risk them dying in your suicide mission if they joined up with you again. That was made clear in an interview with Casey Hudson and I'm glad BW made that decision.

That...makes no sense considering they made two other ME1 characters LIs in ME2. Whatever I will be glad to have Ashley back in ME3 even if she is likely to try to kill me.
Wrex is the only ME1 character you cannot sleep with. I wonder if he feels rejected.

I agree Andy, Casey is easily the funniest characters on the show. Adam Baldwin is the ****ing man!

I know! And in the episode before last (i think) when he has that file open and Chuck's like "Wow, I actually feel sorry for this dude" and then it turns out that it's Chuck's file - hilarious. One of my other fav Casey quotes is when Chuck makes some comment about the planets and Casey's like "so it's true, all the cool kids did go to space camp!"

That's the leading theory--they wanted to create the door for drama in the third game. (I think the Liara people got it the worst. Ashley's email was quite sweet.)
I can't help but think of Shepard's facebook feed...(if he can figure out how to use the damned thing, he can't use email...)
