Well, to quote David Gaider from a DAO thread on Zevran (hope he doesn't mind):



I'm fully aware that not every character I write is going to be liked by everyone -- especially the romances, which are so subject to personal taste.



I suspect most of the Bioware writers have this in mind, and feel like they've succeeded if the get an emotional response out of a character.

So....squad health upgrade, or squad damage upgrade? =) As an Adept I went with health, because I used my biotics for a lot of my damage, and I rolled with Grunt a lot, and it made him basically invincible.

I always go with squad health. I'm the damage dealer most of the time (play soldier mostly). I count on my squad for their powers, not really their damage. Unless it's Grunt we're talking about here. =D

i used to do all the damage in ME1 but the powers are so much fun to use in ME2. i espacially like curving powers around corners and pwn them from a distance. plus the combinations can be really funny. I use squad tactic A LOT.

Depends on what class I am I guess... if soldier I would go for damage, revenant LMG = Godness. As an adept health makes more sense.

Same. I'm not really a damage soak kind of soldier, though. I like to keep my distance and I pretty much never use the shotgun.

That Blue Suns Trooper is scared ****less of you.

And the powers were fun to use in ME2...I definitely spent some time in the early fights just messing with them...Miranda's useful for a biotic character because it's a second warp to detonate Singularity (or what-have-you).

On insanity, squad health is extremely beneficial, if only to help keep the team alive longer, I play an Infiltrator now (I weep for you, Adept) and it's kind of a pain to keep using medi-gel to keep your squad up and running so you don't get flanked, so the health bonus is a no-brainer for me.
