Do you live near Maryland? I live in Maryland and we just got the two blizzards this past week.Kabraxal wrote...
Miri is a goddess... she know I wanted snow in this hellhole and POOF... it's snowing! No grumbling from all you people that are blessed with snowfall each year. I love snow and this is only the 5th or so time I've gotten a good snowfall... of all the places I have lived: an island, a bigger island, a desert, and the bloody swamps... but SNOW... of course it will be 20 years before it snows here again.

I am trying to move north, specifically in the Colorado/Montana area, but that might take a few years. But hey, 4 inches here is like a blizzard I guess.

I always max out Miranda's officer talent for the amazing bonuses...is she better with warp and overload rather than slam? I usually bring Garrus along with maxed overload and have Miranda maxed out on Warp and Slam.
I always have Slam myself so I max out her warp mostly and overload if I have the points.
I freaking LOVE slam and always 'retrain' with it no matter what class I am. Works GREAT for husks and varren
Slam is my favourite biotic too, but I max it out for Miri so she always has a place by my side.

It seems you just can't give her useless skills. Easy to always take her with you for that reason alone. Add everything else and it's really hard to not take her for some mission.

Take that!
LOL'D SO HARD
Also;
Is there anyone who can do a comparison between the computer graphics and the XBOX graphics? I'm thinking about picking up ME2 for my gaming laptop - but I want to know that it's going to be shinier and make Miranda even MORE sexy than you already is.

Dallas, Florida, Georgia, Virginia... It was hitting all around this area but not here... at least I have one night and possible day with it. I really, really need to move.

What's your gaming laptop's screen resolution? And which kind of display do you use for your xbox? It all depends. I'd guess it can't get much better than to play at 1920x1200 on 24" display as I do (PC of course). The game can't do higher, and bigger displays tend to pixelize the image.Rathias0114 wrote...

@Arrtis:
You give Mordin too little credit. He's great in combat. He should be, after all he's Salarian STG.

Welcome to the thread, Arrtis!
This guy's quite the successful troll over on the Tali thread. It's almost flattering that he's come over to troll us.

Well.. if anyone can run the numbers;
2.8ghz Intel® Core™ i7 quad
6gb ram
HD display (16:9)
NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 1gb
Resolution is coming to about 1920x1080 - but it's a HD.. so. Can I run ME2 at the highest settings?

Very true. Even without slam, Miri's combo of warp and overload make her much more useful in almost every situation. I've found her invaluable against mechs on the harder difficulties.

Even without her skills - her Cerberus tactician is absolutely amazing in itself. Squadwide buff to attack and health? No other character has that buff.

Back to Miranda, though, I remember only one time she said something I didn’t like. It was when she was in that fight with Jack. She tells Jack, “Clearly you were a mistake.”
I thought that was a bit cold. Anyone else think that? It was the only thing that ever really put me off about her character.

There's some controversy.
And this is one of the only character threads not freaking out over the Big, Bad, Talimob Coming To Get Us atm, let's try to keep it that way.

I quite like Jack, but she was wrong to pick a fight with Miranda.

I have to agree about Jack being a mistake. I understand that she is upset, but she doesn't have to try to always pick a fight. Though I also agree that Miranda could have handeled it better.

But there's no denying that Jack got the short end of that deal. Miranda is appropriately horrified if you take her on Jack's mission, but she's still not quite willing to come to terms with the fact she's in a club with some Very Bad People. But this kind of insularity and communication problem is a factor in any group where secrecy is important, so it's not surprising Miranda didn't know.
I did Paragon my way out of this. But the way I RP'd my Captain America Shepherd, who ended up with Miranda, I was never afraid to confront her about Cerberus's wrongdoings.

I can't guarantee it, but I'd say your machine has enough power and will be able to handle ME2 in the highest resolutions without any problems at all. I only don't know if the game supports 1920x1080, because the driver filters the resolutions you can't use, and I can't use 1920x1080 because that's 16:9 and my display is 16:10 (1920x1200), so I can't see it even if the game supports it.
So you might give it a try, or wait until someone else confirms the game supports 16:9. The only question is: can you really wait so long to see Miranda in all her high-res glory
