Miri is a goddess... she know I wanted snow in this hellhole and POOF... it's snowing! No grumbling from all you people that are blessed with snowfall each year. I love snow and this is only the 5th or so time I've gotten a good snowfall... of all the places I have lived: an island, a bigger island, a desert, and the bloody swamps... but SNOW... of course it will be 20 years before it snows here again.

Do you live near Maryland? I live in Maryland and we just got the two blizzards this past week.

I am trying to move north, specifically in the Colorado/Montana area, but that might take a few years. But hey, 4 inches here is like a blizzard I guess.

Snow is one thing I miss in ME2... snow inundated planets. Imagine how the angel would look with snowflakes cascading over that lush, silky mane of hair and the soft tint of wintery grey and blue would make her face shine...

It seems you just can't give her useless skills. Easy to always take her with you for that reason alone. Add everything else and it's really hard to not take her for some mission.

Is there anyone who can do a comparison between the computer graphics and the XBOX graphics? I'm thinking about picking up ME2 for my gaming laptop - but I want to know that it's going to be shinier and make Miranda even MORE sexy than you already is.

What's your gaming laptop's screen resolution? And which kind of display do you use for your xbox? It all depends. I'd guess it can't get much better than to play at 1920x1200 on 24" display as I do (PC of course). The game can't do higher, and bigger displays tend to pixelize the image.

You give Mordin too little credit. He's great in combat. He should be, after all he's Salarian STG.

Resolution is coming to about 1920x1080 - but it's a HD.. so. Can I run ME2 at the highest settings? I would love to see Miranda.. *cough* delicious plate of nachos in ultra detail.

Very true.  Even without slam, Miri's combo of warp and overload make her much more useful in almost every situation.  I've found her invaluable against mechs on the harder difficulties.

Very true.  Even without slam, Miri's combo of warp and overload make her much more useful in almost every situation.  I've found her invaluable against mechs on the harder difficulties.

Even without her skills - her Cerberus tactician is absolutely amazing in itself. Squadwide buff to attack and health? No other character has that buff.

I quite like Jack, but she was wrong to pick a fight with Miranda.

You were a mistake wasn't a personal attack it was a judgement on the tests and the methods of that cell. Miranda meant that what happened to Jack was a mistake, but not Cerberus' fault (though I argue she is just being defensive at this point since it is usually far enough in the story for her doubts to confront her firm conviction).

I have to agree about Jack being a mistake. I understand that she is upset, but she doesn't have to try to always pick a fight. Though I also agree that Miranda could have handeled it better.

I could not bring myself to side with Miranda in the Jack fight. As I've said a lot of times, the characters have a lot of similarities, and if the shoe had been on the other foot, their roles would be reversed.



But there's no denying that Jack got the short end of that deal. Miranda is appropriately horrified if you take her on Jack's mission, but she's still not quite willing to come to terms with the fact she's in a club with some Very Bad People. But this kind of insularity and communication problem is a factor in any group where secrecy is important, so it's not surprising Miranda didn't know.



I did Paragon my way out of this. But the way I RP'd my Captain America Shepherd, who ended up with Miranda, I was never afraid to confront her about Cerberus's wrongdoings.

I can't guarantee it, but I'd say your machine has enough power and will be able to handle ME2 in the highest resolutions without any problems at all. I only don't know if the game supports 1920x1080, because the driver filters the resolutions you can't use, and I can't use 1920x1080 because that's 16:9 and my display is 16:10 (1920x1200), so I can't see it even if the game supports it.

So you might give it a try, or wait until someone else confirms the game supports 16:9. The only question is: can you really wait so long to see Miranda in all her high-res glory
