I have to know by the way, when are the scenes where Miranda tears up? Is it just the end of her loyalty mission? I'm wondering because she just never seems to tear up even in very intimate scenes with her.

Yeah, it's the loyalty mission, when you have to encourage her to go to her sister. One of the character's defining moments, IMO.

It was when she was talking about Oriana. After she went on about their similarities for a bit, she said, “She’s funny… something we don’t share.”



I just thought that was sweet for some reason, and I was like, “aww”. Just how Miranda was so confident in her abilities but knew that this was something her sister had that she just lacked.

And her funniest moment in the game is when she shouts at the elevator. And she's not really aware it's a joke.

And there's the hint of this nature vs. nurture, here. She's genetically identical to Oriana, but I can't imagine laughter was high on the priority list of Miranda's father's legacy-building.

Mordin and Joker have enough comic gold for the whole ship, though.

I was reading the front page of this thread. I am very impressed by the high level of character analysis on there. It's a tad more significant than the analysis seen in Tali's thread.
