My criticism of it is that it's entirely non-interactive. You just have one more dialogue wheel of do-you-or-don't-you go to the engine room. How much better would it have been if the tummy hug had been a paragon interrupt, or an aggressive kiss a renegade interrupt? It would've been nice to have one or two more lines of Serious Feeling conversation--"I settle for nothing but the best" is flirty and fun, but I can see why some people think the scene itself conveys a 'one-night-stand' feel. (You have to take the romance as a whole to get more out of it.) The time to work this in would've been the 'afterglow'. Gaming is an interactive medium, there should be at least a little interaction in the love scene.
what he said. I wanted more interactivity. I think an afterglow conversation would have done wonders, and a post-game convo. Maybe a callback to promising.not promising that you'll survive.
Yes, cute post-mission banter.
“Well, I survived. Like I told you I would.”
“Yes, you did.”
“And you survived.”
“Yes, I suppose I did, didn’t I?”
“So…”
“Come here, Shepard.”

There. That too much to ask? That's nothing.
Plus, in my game, Miranda pretty much resigned from Cerberus for me. I wanted to talk about that.
