Actually its not weird the forum is censored. If you let someone do something on the web they tend to abuse it. If the forum was not censored people would be spouting curses and vugarities just for the heck of it.

Even Jack starts to taper off the cursing after a few conversations.

After I played through the game the first time, I always viewed the opening a bit differently. It seems like Miranda cares about Shep even then. Obviously it's not like anything she feels later, but she's spent 2 years working on him and getting to know his mind and body. I wouldn't be surprised if she admired Shepard at that point, if only in a distant sort of way.

Really? Maybe it's just me trying to make nothing into something.

It didn't really look like she was smiling to me, though. I thought she looked worried, if anything. Her brow was furrowed and her mouth was drawn tight. It seemed to indicate that she was worried about Shepard's present condition and was going through her head trying to figure out the best and quickest solution to fix the situation.
