After I played through the game the first time, I always viewed the opening a bit differently. It seems like Miranda cares about Shep even then. Obviously it's not like anything she feels later, but she's spent 2 years working on him and getting to know his mind and body. I wouldn't be surprised if she admired Shepard at that point, if only in a distant sort of way.

The look she gives you before she berates Wilson on getting the numbers wrong support this theory.

Technically, the relationship has been going strong for 2+ years... though it has been a bit one-sided.

I mean, come on - her project was to make Shepard complete again..

Little did she know that it wasn't futuristic medical science.. or the rebuilding of the Normandy that made him complete.

It was her.

Project Lazarus was a success.

Indeed. People fornicate while fully clothed in the future.

And in the past (DAO), they put on more clothes!

Lol. Do they? Yet another reason I need DAO.

Well, at least Miranda has her zipper.

Also, Miranda has a very tiny waist. It'll be challenging to draw it right, though the dress I'm drawing isn't quite as form fitting as her usual attire.

@Toshi - Yes, yes it was.

I blame the love music I am listening to right now that is making me feel lonely. Damn you, Valentine's Day.

Corny is the essence of the Miranda loooove thread! And what you call corny, I call brilliant.

*applauds Rath*

My Shepard would be much different without Miranda in his life. And not just for obvious reasons like the fact that she brought him back to life (literally and emotionally). Now I'm being corny.

High-five for plotting to kill Jacob - and now high-five for being corny!

Haha, I mean, we're both right - literally and figuratively.

For our Shepard's at least.

To pull us together and make us fight as one cohesive unit. A Miranda-loving, nacho eating group of commandos, if you will.

Because subconsciously they really do like Miranda, but they refuse to acknowledge that fact in their conscious mind. So instead of creating a hate thread, they post in the loooove thread which, consciously they believe furthers their cause of Miranda-hating, but unconsciously they know they're bumping a Miranda loooove thread and keeping it at the top of the forum.
