Perhaps one should mention the group link occasionally, for those who never read the first post:andysilv87 wrote...

The hammerhead thing will be interesting - but I'm still hopeful with the Date Night DLC. With how many people are calling for it, it's possible we will see it come to fruition.

Add it to your sig, Ieldra. Since you crafted the Miranda Manifesto, I'm surprised you haven't already.

Did anyone see the death compilations thread? Miranda absolutely refuses to die in it. Maybe bioware has big plans for her in ME3 and wants to make it really hard for you to lose her. It just seemed like you have to really screw up to kill her, unlike everyone else.

I hope so, but I'm pretty sure it's just a glitch. Also, her scene of being dragged off by the Collectors looked a little different to me. Shepard didn't scream her name, either. I think I've heard of her dying while holding the line. As curious as I am, I don't really want to do a playthrough dedicated to killing Miranda. Maybe one of the haters can do it and tell us the results.

Yes, cpb, you're absolutely right. It's clear that Bioware has great plans for Miranda in the future.
Toshi, a little lesson from Dune.
I must not fear.
Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.
In other words, think happy thoughts.

It was a glitch, as I pointed out on that topic, one second you can see her in the foreground well away from where the 2nd squadmate gets swarmed, the next second she has effectively replaced Grunt (whom the OP stated disappeared from all cut-scenes after during that playthrough) and gets swarmed. Either before or after he showed the scene afterwards where magically Miranda re-appeared again. In other words, no one got swarmed.
Not sure what caused the glitch though hehe
The one that is more intriguing though is the one where he states he didn't have her loyalty and yet she survived as the diversion team leader. GOOO MIRANDA

I can't even bring myself to do minor things that could possibly hurt the woman.
For instance - right before the romance scene, when you get the choice to say "I should've known you wouldn't settle for the Captain's Quarters.." or "We can't do this."
I can't even get close to moving the pointer to say no to her - it is physically impossible for me. Hell, even thinking about telling her no is hurting meh brain.

What happens when you turn her down... I havent done it either. It would be realistic if you could turn her down and let her still be your LI

She is very hard to kill. I'll kill her off eventually, but it's going to be hard to be deliberately stupid. Anyone know if it's possible for her to die after she's told TIM to go to hell? I'd like to see that scene for reference.
The only way they can die after the boss fight is if they are disloyal, I would think. There is no other variables other than them surviving a giant pillar falling ontop of them.

Yes bring her with you on the final mission and make sure she's unloyal... she will be killed by the rubble its actually really sad if she's your LI and you have to hold her limp body for a second.

Satisfied? My usual sig philosophy is to not put game-specific things into it if it's a forum about more than one game. But I'm making an exception for Miranda.Sleepy Buddha wrote...

The "Miranda Manifesto" is it now? I guess I have acquired some bragging rights then
So, back to playing ME2 for a while. It can't be that I'm as active in this thread as I am and still haven't finished Miranda's romance (My first ME2 game was with a femShep).
