Yea she did say that, but I dont remember where in this thread but someone was like I dont think Shepard and Miranda will have kids... and that got me thinking.

Oh we know they'll eventually have kids..

I didn't come up with those Johnny dialogues for nothing!

Yeah, after you finish ME3 new dialogue options will open up and you'll be able to 'WooHoo' or 'Try for a baby' to your heart's content.

/facepalm

You know.. now that you say it, I'm probably going to create a Jacob look alike and have him catch on fire.

I plan on inviting him over for a swim and removing the ladders.

I -like- the way you think.

Wish there was someway to get him like.. viciously stabbed or something.

Lol. Somehow, I'm not sure Miranda would entirely approve of the direction this thread has taken, atm.

I tried. I really tried. But even when she told the Illusive Man where to stick his job, I just couldn't warm up to her, even with my Male-Shep. And the worst part is I'm not entirely sure why. I think I was almost getting to like her, and then she pulled that crap with Jack... the character's not dumb, she must have seen the issues there in the poor gal, why taunt her? Why deny what was done to her was wrong (semantics aside)? Made her seem blinkered and selfish in the end.

Plus from the beginning I was more interested in getting her back together with Jacob (if only you could have done that)... he's a good guy, little bit bland, but... ;)

You never know, she is a sly one.

Haha, but we need to get back on topic. Wonder why they didn't give Miranda any actual upgrades like they did for Mordin and Jack. Would've loved to give her biotic powers an extra damage boost - or a quicker cooldown.

It's actually quite funny how much Jack and Miranda have in common when compared right next to each other.

Troubled childhood.
Used as tools to further someone's own agenda.
Miranda hides her emotions while Jack throws them out there blatantly.
Sex is intimate to Miranda and nothing to Jack.

I think it's Meg - or someone else, I could be wrong - who did a very good analysis of the similarities between the two. You should check it out. ;)

And to clarify, she didn't deny what happened to Jack was wrong - she was trying to defend that fact that it was a rogue Cerberus scientific cell that had done what they did to her - and not the "real" Cerberus, so to speak. The only time I could say she taunted Jack was when she said "Obviously, YOU were a mistake" - to which I think could be countered with the fact that Jack did threaten to smear the walls with her.. and calling her a very rude name.

She was never with Jacob and on top of it all Jack was asking for trouble.
Miranda never did anything wrong.
Why should Miranda apologize?
She had no part in what had happen to her.
That was out of her hands.
On top of it Miranda had a point it was a splinter group they went rogue.
Check your facts next time.

Hehe...should have made a note of it when you imported it (shows you the code for the imported face) :)

Does it? I just checked. Nothing. If I accept the imported face, I can't see any code, and if I choose to customize it, then the face the game attempts to give me a similar starting face, but it isn't all that similar. If you've meant something else, please tell me. I've been looking for a way to get face codes for my ME1 faces for a few days without success.
BTW, with a femShep, you always start with the default face if you select "customize".

You have to admit the upgrade she did give you. Stupid scanning minigame.

One of the things that disappointed me in ME2 was how little your background affected the story. I'd love for a Sole Survivor to have some choice words for Miranda, since Cerberus was responsible for the major trauma of his life. Maybe even have her indirectly responsible because she sent a message suggesting the acid would make a good bioweapon. Cue a "my God what have I done" moment that sets up her leaving Cerberus.

Thoughts?

Hahah, hilarious! At least he kept the additional equipment close, if Shepard happened to need them.

@Jtav: Yeah that would have been quite interesting addition. I can't remember if the background affected much after the beginning interview though. I could be remembering wrong.

It would have been nice for your background to play a bigger part in the games a whole as well as with Miranda. The only time I remember her mentioning your background is when you go down the "Are you jealous?" conversation path, she replies with something like "look at you, a colony kid..." I don't remember the rest unfortunately, but obviously it varies with each background.

*Is considering writing up a transcript of every Miranda conversation in the game*

I just realized after noticing the Tali thread has grown by 35 pages in one day:

We will be here longer than the Tali thread. That one will crash from page number overflow at page 32768 not too far from now...

Yeah, we're slower but we'll last longer, just the way Miranda likes it. ;-)

I think that was actually the guy from the Tali thread talking about them breaking it. Unless I misunderstood.

This could be interesting. However, I feel their relationship was based more on who they are now and who they're trying to become rather than who they were.

Besides, I'm sure a lot more people would have disliked Miranda if she had been in any way responsible for Akuze or something. But I can definitely see a scenario where Miranda asks him about it and feels terrible about what happened even though she had nothing to do with it.

It was.

I think the OPs have a certain 'professional recognition' for each other, lol. When we get more fanart/fanfic other things, I'll be checking out the Tali/Garrus threads to get an idea of how they organize it before I reorganize ours.  Part of why I've been poking my head in lots of character threads this past week, to see how they do things. (That and I genuinely like a lot of characters, and even more genuinely believe fans of any character deserve a place to totally geek out.)

I have to admit, I find this video and my choice of avatar a pretty funny coincidence.

What Odin said. It's not a renegade response by the way, just a different way to go about the dialog. You will still have sex with her before the suicide mission regardless of that answer.

Hmm... not the renegade option? think I have seen it but could've sworn it was on bottom right... and even though I am playing a renegade (and got the kiss early on :D ) if it is the line I think it was, I didn't choose that for fear of it bodging up the romance *fires current save up to check what stage the convo is at*

Edit: Yup think am past that now... got to the bit where she talks bout loose ends and not forgetting discussion, thinking we're crazy, is shep still interested.

Oh well, as mentioned, I got the kiss which of course is followed by the "Stop smiling damn it!" line and that'll do me nicely till the proper romance bit.

Hmm, was wanting to wait till Kasumi was available to finish this run, but unless a dev were to come along and say she will be available next week, I don't think I can wait any longer!

It is in the bottom right, renegade slot. But the line isn't a typical renegade line...if that makes sense.
