According to my initial sweep of the last survey, Miranda has a mean score of 7.19. Comparing it with the rest of the data, she ranks sixth on the character survey in terms of mean score alone. Mordin is still number one, with Wrex and Garrus behind him.

Someday, I'll stop bothering to keep up on these. Victory in these polls depends more on people finding them then anything....except XX55XX's survey on the general forums, which had a large sample size.

Yeah, these kinds of polls go unnoticed by the vast majority of forum participants, making them praticaly useless.

Yet, even though I known this, I find myself oddly compelled to vote in every single one that's posted here, especially by you, Com.

By the way, I already congratulated Ieldra for the Miranda Manifesto. Ieldra found the name funny and said that now had something to brag about. I replied it was your idea, and that got me thinking. You should put that title as an A.K.A. to Ieldra's piece. I'm not saying changing the title, just adding to it. It would perhaps make it easier to identify.

Yup, finding the polls is the main part of winning them. (There's a poll somewhere where Kaiden Alenko is beating Tali. Which I never expected to see, ever.) Some of them I felt compelled to post (I'm really glad we pulled Miri ahead of the Space Hamster on that one poll), but eventually I don't think I'll be able to keep up.

And I went ahead and added a little undertitle on the OP.

I'm not surprised the non-LI characters rate highest. Everyone loves them, and equally important, you get all of their content no mattter what you do. You don't see very much of Jack at all if you don't go the Paragon romance.

This is part of why a certain famous Miranda picture is pointedly NOT on the front page, lol. I think part of the thread's success is that we've focused on Miranda as a whole character, and not just 'dat ass'.

I think of the wink, the tummy hug, and her almost-shooting Nikel as more appropriate 'iconic' Miri moments. (As I've said, the waterfall doesn't count, all the characters look awesome by the waterfall.)

No dear friend. I have done this to return glory to Miranda! I doubt I will return from this battle. I may have to make a choice in the end to destroy the Nachos, or hand them over to a Nacho lover who will use them for evil.

Sorry. Lost my train of thought for a second. You're absolutely right. That is also why this thread lasts while those others become stale rather quickly. No matter how nice a physical feature is, there's only so much you can say about it before you run out of things to talk about.

The fact that this thread is 200+ pages is proof that there is far more to Miranda than meets the eye.

Part of the reason I love these forums is that I know I wasn't the only one who laughed every time with "Shepard." "Wrex." I talked to Wrex on Tuchanka trying to get it again, and with Grunt trying to train the new Krogan properly. (Was hoping for "Shepard." "Grunt.")

The Tali one is better, though, because it works with the Tali face reveal.

I personally think that those are the best lines in the game. I'm crossing my figners for ME3 to have some really dramatic emotional moment, and then a look between those two.
