Hopefully will be handled via DLC or ME3. This is just one part of the rest of the big plot thread of Cerberus.

You have two options:
-Destroy Cerberus once and for all. I could see this happening in ME3 or DLC, and in a way it's more likely to happen then a Miranda-specific mission or DLC.
-Spirit Miri's sister some place where TiM can't touch her. I had to think about where would make sense, and putting Oriana and her family deep in Turian/Asari/Salarian space makes the most sense. TiM's network is centered around human space, and it makes sense he'd have operatives in 'international' trade/political hubs like Illium and Citadel, but, say, the Salarian homeworld?

You know, in all fairness I don't think you should ever be able to kill the Illusive Man, no matter how much you hate him for one simple reason: he is most likely smarter than you. TIM is a slippery eel, I don't think it should be possible for you to ever actually get to the point where you pull the trigger on him and he is overcautious by nature because people mostly hate him and his ideals (at least, those in the 'modern polite' society do).

That and the fact that I actually like the character and even the organisation Cerberus. I don't like everything they do of course (or rather, how they do it) but I still think they are necessary, so I hope to have the option of not going after him, although that obviously doesn't mean I wouldn't hesitate placing a shot into the forehead of whoever he may of sent to kill me or Miranda or her sister.

Speaking of the sister, I think it would be awesome from a plot development sort of way for her to gain an unrequited crush on the commander if Miranda is your LI, afterall... they are almost the same person (in a way!)

Reminds me of Ash's sister's email in ME1..."Commander Shepard is cute", lol.

I sorta agree that TiM is such a genius and master strategist that he should be able to escape anything.
But that does leave the question...whither Cereberus? They were the 'sidequest villain' throughout ME1, and play a huge role in ME2. You can't kill TiM in Me2 like you can kill the Council, so they're clearly being saved for DLC or ME3.

My Shepard started to warm up to Miranda....

Woah. I leave for a few hours and the world is upside down. I had no idea there was a gender swap hack. That is insane. I guess even fem Shep can't get enough Miranda.

I remember seeing some videos of the gender-swapping hacks. It's pretty hilarious hearing Meer's voice coming from a female Shepard.

Yes, that's one drawback.  The other is that you have to gender change for certain key dialogs, and your Shepard looks all messed up...like this:

Hey...if you squint your eyes and tilt your head to the right*....it looks like a turian with hair. I mean, it could be just me being tricked by lack of sleep.

*Head tilting is for dramatic purposes only and not really needed.

So we say "night" and the "good" is implied? What if I actually mean "badnight"...

Night Meg.

You might be right. *squints*

You are right!

BTW, I've played FemShep with a non-hacked Miranda relationship and I still love her.   I feel as though they have earned each other's trust over the mission and became good friends.   Initially, I thought Miranda would be the squad mate I trusted the least, but she became the squad mate I trusted the most (I picked her to lead both squads during the suicide mission and had her in my party for the final battle).   Miranda has a 'get things done' attitude, but still show's some humanity when needed.   I was quite pleased when she agreed with me about the destruction of the Collector base.

That's good to hear. I remember having a debate with you over who was in the wrong during the Miranda vs. Jack discussion back when we knew nothing about it on the old forums.

I'm glad to hear this. I haven't finished my FemShep playthrough, and my FemShep is renegade, so I expect a very different dynamic. It's very interesting to me to hear how different characters come off on different playthroughs. Especially LI characters, who are sometimes short-changed on non-romance dialogue and character development.

I've seen this picture at least five times during my time here. I still look at it for at least ten seconds before moving on. :D

Couldn't think of a more noble pursuit myself...it's important to be in tip top shape, posting on the internet all day is tough work. B)

It's one of the covers for the ME:Redemption comic.

We're so blessed to have so many beautiful pics in this thread to choose from. It was much harder then I thought it would be to find a Tali pic to use for:

Posted Image

If only because characters face to their left in most photos. (I thought about using one with them pointing guns at each other, but they would both be pointing guns to the pic's left. Eventually I found a Miri facing left and Miri facing right and just used the Tali pic from the ME wiki.)

Thank you. Almost makes me want to pick it up. (Although when it comes to comics, most of the time I'm a wait-for-the-trade paperback kind of guy.)
