I don't want to watch Chuck, lol. I like Miranda and seeing her VA playing a RL role (no matter how terrific) will probably hurt the immersion that I like so much in the ME universe. Or at least the immersion with Miranda.
Isn't that a b*tch
There's also the problem that you might become obsessed with Yvonne like Shinobi and me if you start watching Chuck after being mesmerized by Miranda.
But yeah, Yvonne is awesome.......<3
........I'm so screwed............

I think the great thing about watching Chuck now is that I can make or try to analyze some parallels between Shepard and Miranda's relationship and Chuck and Sarah's relationship. One thing I thought contrasted, an was quite amazing IMO, is how Chuck seems like a klutzy, incompetent person, but really he is good at heart. Sarah's character is so similar to Miri and the fact that Sarah admires and loves Chuck for his good-heartedness really moves me.
I also think in the most recent episode, Casey is realizing how deep their relationship is, and now that Casey is seeing Chuck and Sarah with other people, I think Casey doesn't like it, which I also think is moving on his part. Casey, IMO, believes only Chuck and Sarah are the right people for each other, even though his lines sometimes downplay that fact
Just some insight here

One thing that slightly bugs me in the game is how virtually everyone but shepherd says the phrase "damn it!" though this is probably a feeling because I have one of my Shepherds looking like Jack Bauer/Kiefer Sutherland and thus feel he should at least once say "DAMN IT!"
Don't think Mordin says it, if he did he would probably say "damnation!!". From now on I demand Mordin say "damnation" or at least he better for ME3

Loved the Joker mission when he kept swearing...though at the same time felt kinda forced.....think the F word would have fit much better and been twice as funny....but guess legalities and red tape stopped them from doing that.

In Ash's defense, and because she was my love before ME2 was even a sparkle in Bioware's eyes, she had her moments. She didn't come off as whiney at all to me - just a bit overbearing and trying waaay to hard to remove the stain on her family's name. That was the biggest turn off with me over my playthroughs of ME1.
Regarding the religious part, I'm a deist - and maybe because I didn't really care - but the whole religion thing didn't even phase me. If you choose to say your Shepard is religious as well, he says the line "No athiests in the foxhole" - which is somewhat true. Time in the military and seeing consistent combat, for some odd reason, makes people believe. I've seen roughly 10 of my close friends who were athiest, join the Marines, go to Iraq - see combat - and come home to say they found God.
But - that is a discussion not for this thread.
Miranda's character is really well rounded. She is a strong, independent woman - who uses what she has to get things done. She isn't afraid of flaunting her assets - because to her, they are tools - just like how she feels all over her "employers" (TIM and her father) think she is just a tool.
She has an emotional side - which takes a lot of trust for her to finally show to you, and even more trust for her to finally act on them. For a genetically modified person - she is surprisingly more "human" than I think anyone ever expected.
Also - to the Brits in this thread.. Irishman here.

I had purely plan on romancing her just to see full-view of her assets and some black-lace bra.. but over the course of the game.. I was SO glad that eventually found out that there was a LOT more to this character.
Bad intentions coming into this game - but so happy that there was an even greater personality behind a great body.

Miranda's story is a LOT like Grunt's surprisingly. Both were engineered for perfection but neither agreed with the purpose their "father" had planned for them. Grunt found a clan, kin, and a kickass battlemaster to fight for. Miranda went from being used by her father to being used by the TIM and Cerberus, something Shepard can also relate to:
Jack: "You were a stooge for the alliance and you're a lapdog for cerberus."
Still you can keep Miranda from killing her friend, keep that ghost from following her around the rest of her life, and nudge her into connecting and forming a bond with her sister - a person who values Miranda as a person, not as a tool. This, along with her interactions with Shepard, are what finally gives her both the clairvoyance and courage to sever ties with cerberus at the end and finally become her own person.

You could also compare her to Jack as well; like it's been mentioned. Both were engineered - rough childhoods, etc etc.

I'm sure that, just like the other Miri fans here, due to the lack of dialog at the end of the game and just the sheer depth and intrigue to Miranda's character, I can't go a playthrough without romancing her. It feels almost too natural. Ugh, we need some DLC
Haha, dude - for me, it feels unnatural to say anything to her that's either mean or could hurt her feelings. I got a soft spot for Miri, what can I say?

What's the difference later on between letting Miranda kill her friend over sparing him? I personally allowed her to kill the guy on all three runs, because I thought he might betray Miri again.

The Asari Merc shoots him in the back with her Claymore. Talk about ouch. Miranda appreciates you stopping her next time you talk to her as well.
