It remains to be seen, I think Yvonne is filming currently, so probably wont be VA for while.

What's the difference later on between letting Miranda kill her friend over sparing him? I personally allowed her to kill the guy on all three runs, because I thought he might betray Miri again.

I don't remember it changing things much, she just says how she's glad she killed him or she wishes she'd killed him. I think either one leads to the same dialogue options for Shepard.

Must be diff dialogue....if you dont let her kill him...

Some time later you say 'you still cared about him, it was the right thing to do' and she thanks you for stopping her.

Not killed him myself (never thought him coming back in ME3) but will do that on this run.

Well if you don't let her kill him then, the asari does anyway so he won't be back in ME3.

I'm sure that, just like the other Miri fans here, due to the lack of dialog at the end of the game and just the sheer depth and intrigue to Miranda's character, I can't go a playthrough without romancing her. It feels almost too natural. Ugh, we need some DLC :P

Haha, dude - for me, it feels unnatural to say anything to her that's either mean or could hurt her feelings. I got a soft spot for Miri, what can I say?

Don't feel bad about it, guys. I feel exactly the same way.

And I've played choosing other options that still lead to romancing her (such as the "jealous" and "no promises" ones), and I feel bad choosing those, even if they lead to great scenes (such as the kiss and hug), because I feel I'm being just a bit mean and selfish to her.

In the jealous line, I feel like I'm insulting her, while if I say I'm admiring her body, the whole conversation to me has this tone of admiring her as a whole, especially in the context of it's what she does with what she's got that counts, and that she's very adept at using her assets (both physical and mental) extremely well.

I can't help promissing her I won't die. I feel like I'm telling her "Don't worry, everything's going to be allright.". Because for someone who's very able, competent and allways achieves her goals, I sense in her a great deal of doubt and uncertainty since the outcome of the whole situation is out of her hands, and I can't help but try to confort her.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but that's how I feel.

Don't worry about it, I actually thought you were going to say I'd mis-understood something and then I was going to blame it on lack of sleep. Posted Image I'm sitting here at my PC feeling like a freakin' zombie at the minute.

@Rath

Yea I know, I can never even imagine just saying no to her at the last minute. It would be the biggest douche move in history! Lol.

I kinda wished though that if you promised Miranda that you would survive, she would give you a hug. It makes more sense IMO, but whatever.

I thought maybe poor Niket would be able to get away once I stopped Miri from blasting him. Sadly though in a weird way he got what he deserved from the Asari.

It's called karma what comes around goes around.
He got what he had coming to him for hurting poor Miranda.
I'm glad I let the Asari girl kill him after I dealt with her ;)
She had what she had coming too.

That's why it made it all the more wild to take the Asari girl out afterward.

Miranda did what she thought was right for her sister more than what I can say about most people.

I wish.... something along the lines of an m60 would be sweet...
More games need light machine guns and heavy machine guns.

Was three posts in 4 minutes really necessary? Wouldn't edits have been sufficient?

In Ash's defense, and because she was my love before ME2 was even a sparkle in Bioware's eyes, she had her moments. She didn't come off as whiney at all to me - just a bit overbearing and trying waaay to hard to remove the stain on her family's name. That was the biggest turn off with me over my playthroughs of ME1.
Regarding the religious part, I'm a deist - and maybe because I didn't really care - but the whole religion thing didn't even phase me. If you choose to say your Shepard is religious as well, he says the line "No athiests in the foxhole" - which is somewhat true. Time in the military and seeing consistent combat, for some odd reason, makes people believe. I've seen roughly 10 of my close friends who were athiest, join the Marines, go to Iraq - see combat - and come home to say they found God.

I didn't mind Ash's being religious, in spite of myself being not at all religious. She wasn't intrusive about it and I can't understand how people disliked her because of it. My only maleShep in ME1 had a romance with Ash and I never considered it a problem.
But I can't let this go without mentioning that atheists tend to find the claim that there are no atheists in foxholes very offensive. It's like telling people you know better what's going on in their heads than they know themselves.

Having said that, while I had no problem with Ash - I even feel somewhat bad about breaking up with her - I'm very glad Miranda makes no mention of such things, and seems, all in all, to believe more in the advancement of the human species. I see the emancipation from any gods as part of growing up as a species.

Controversial topics again. Sorry I couldn't leave this uncommented.

I messed up so what?
It's not like I can delete what I said or I would delete it and only have made two posts.
But hey whatever.
If you got a problem with it well tough **** that's life.

A lot of things in life aren't necessary yet people do them anyway.
So if complaining about it  floats your boat whatever.

I actually can't promise her I won't die. My Shepard is a bit of a pessimist, and Akuze made a serious impact on him. The looming cloud of death is something he's almost always concious of. If Miranda would have died on the suicide mission, I would have played ME 3 pretty much full Renegade, as opposed to Paragade. Since she did live though, I'm likely to play quite a bit more Paragon.

I just thought of a sad scene (I know people hate it when I do this, but...) where Shepard dies but Miranda lives. I'm not sure of the circumstances (maybe after everyone falls off the platforms), but Miranda would be saying "You promised me damn it! You promised me!".

Chill out peeps. It's very easy to double/triple/quadruple post on these forums. They aren't the most stable.

Wow Toshi that really bummed me out a little haha. That would be horrible just to sit through if you went with the "I Promise" route.

That's what I do! That's not the first sad Miranda scene I've posted in here. I actually had to edit one of them away because of the complaints.

is him letting go to save joker the only way for shepard to die in the ending?  that means you have to bring two unloyal crew members with you to the final reaper fight?
