There is literally no Miranda fan art here. Unlike the Tali thread (in which dozens of sketches and drawings have been displayed dozens of times over the course of the thread).

Doesnt matter. Its all personal tastes, and plus someone will have to want to do it. If I, or others, dont feel like making fanart, thats our prerogative. Besides, we post more ingame pics than anything. However, it would be cool to see some fanart, dont get me wrong, seeing what people can come up with is cool. I am not artistically inclined guys, dont look at me

Well, I think it's partly because Tali's been out for two years, Miranda's been around for like three weeks.

Give it time.

I think they were just making a comparison--lots of people pop their heads in several different threads, and each of them have their own atmosphere.

And there is a LOT more Tali fanart, but that's because the character's been around longer. And the mask--lots of people have their own version of what she's like under the mask, and use that for fanart.

By the way has anyone heard the rumours of BW planning a ME2 expansion?

There's a "big release" for ME in early 2011. Which is too soon for ME3. So could be expansion, could be spinoff game.

Maybe, but that seems too late for an expansion, you know? I mean, DAO was much bigger than ME2, and it's gotten Return to Ostagar and Awakening is coming soon (or is it out already, I havent paid attention)
Besides I had also heard elsewhere that this "far reaching for Mass Effect" future title in 2011 will be ME3, but like you said it seems too soon. However Casey Hudson did say in an interview that ME3 would take a lot less time to develop, claiming that no improvements would be made to the graphical engine and some other things. I cant remember exactly.

late 2011 and early 2012 is probably more likely for mass effect 3.

And they had a **** of a time getting Ostagar out the door. Not a bad little DLC, but it was delayed a lot. The Awakening forum is a good reminder why I don't go to game forums for a game until it's released...everyone's worried it'll suck, everyone's upset that it has basically a new cast (though the DAO characters got probably as much dialogue as anyone in ME1/2/3 will get put together, except Shepard).



But yes, it could be that they can bring ME3 to market with a shorter development cycle. The combat engine is mostly where they want it, graphically the game is amazing, and they have the broad story outline in mind. I also think that ME2 (and even ME1) will have more impressive carry-over for ME3. It's the big finish, they don't need to worry about what will carry over after that. Also, having done it ONCE in ME1 to ME2, they can expand and refine the concept of your ME2 to ME3 import.



(....another reason why your surviving squadmates from ME2 will probably be back.)

It's interesting, this thread has a lot of diverse screen captures. We'll see the Miri Fan-Art Train Gear up, soon. As much as I love the white and leather costumes, I think it's the best way to see her in different 'looks'.

Let's hope some DLC expands the outfits for both the squadmates and Shepard. I would at least like to see some form of romantic wear and resulting dialogue based on having it equipped. That way we could get our cocktail dress and a sly seductive wink from our goddess.



Of course that will be followed by Jack's cussing because I forced her into a nice flowing dress and she's embarrassed and pisssed all at once. What can I say, I'm sadistic.
