I'm hoping the Oriana issue is brought up in future content, because based on who Miranda is as a character, protecting her sister would be the first thing she thought about once the suicide mission was over and she had a chance to collect her thoughts.
It probably won't be mentioned again, though - or at worst it will be used as a plotdevice to take Miranda out of ME3. 'Oh - Miranda isn't a returning squadmate in the finale - she's off taking care of plans to relocate her sister. But you know, you get this really cool vidmail from her. It's a real treat!'
...have you told anyone this? shh....
The problem with dealing with her sister and TiM in any future content is that it has to work well for a decision to keep the base and stay with Cerberus as well.
I'm a little surprised that it wasn't possible to completely destroy Cerberus at the end of ME3, which makes me think that Bioware still has some plot/content related to them, which will probably include dealing with Oriana.

...have you told anyone this? shh....It occured to me that this is the kind of sidequest that could keep her out of ME3 just like Liara's quest against the Shadowbroker sidelines her for ME2. (And some nonsense about tying up loose ends for Cerberus if you kept the base.)

Ha! No - it's just my rambling worst case scenario. Although now that I think about it - all of the loyalty missions for the ME2 squaddies are set up to provide for an 'out' for that character to not appear as a returning squaddie (barring Jack's, perhaps - but if she wasn't paragon romanced, she has no reason to stay with Shep anyway).
And good point - I think that sort of thing will be the problem for all ME2 squadmates regarding DLC/extra content - that they have to work equally well regardless of what choice was chosen by the player.
I think Cerberus will definitely come into play in ME3 - because as you mention it's important regardless of what decision is chosen at the end. Keep the base and you're still with Cerberus; destroy the base and it's mentioned by Jacob that Cerberus will now be on your tail.
Based on all the different choices that can be made both in ME1 and ME2, if Bioware can bring together all the past plotlines and squadmates and give them the attention they deserve, ME3 is going to be a killer game. The choices aspect is a double edged sword, though - it makes things interesting, but it also decreases the chances that all characters will be focused on equally.

Same here. I'm on my Soldier, stay loyal to Ashley playthrough. Already not my favourite I have to say. I prefer Miri as she's the pinnacle representation of the sort of woman I'd go for in reality. Ash is too much of a tomboy.
Not to mention I miss my biotics like hell. Changing ammo type as soon as a different enemy walks around the corner or a certain defence goes down starts to feel like a chore after 5 seconds, I'd much rather have my biotics.

And yes Ash is far too hard edged and manly for my liking also, women choice....maybe not the perfect bod (life doest work like that) but definatly the strong character that is actualy soft underneath once you break down the barriers
And right I'm off to play...will be in and out so Ill try and keep up lol. (and get some more screencaps)

As fun as I found the Adept in ME1, it's ten times more fun in ME2 thanks to curving powers.

I hope they do bring it together. ME2 has been out less then a month. It's a long way to see what they do in ME3.
But, as everyone has said, they've invested so much time and effort into building the characters, and the whole of ME2 was about building a team, it seems dumb to sideline them and start from scratch. I actually feel they did the 'everyone can die' ending of ME2 just to drive speculation--'zomg, how are they going to integrate this into ME3!
I've already resigned myself to losing Mordin for ME3 though...he's old for a Salarian, I don't think he'll make it in fighting shape.

Soldiers are SO boring in ME2. Nothing compares to using Pull to yank guys out of cover, then using Slam (thanks Miri) to fling them higher and then BOOM! smash them into the ground! Adept ftw.
Slam is so cool, though usually I use it to get the husk/varren that's hitting me.

Let's talk favourite moments.....
Besides the romp in the engeneering level!
One of my favourites (and this might sound wierd) is when you get to the shuttle hanger at the Lazarus Project and the door opens...
Wilkens / Watson ? "Mirranda, I thaught you were....(gets shot by Miranda)
Miranda: "Dead"?
That was so hot, I was like. "This is a bad ass chick and man is she hot" which suprised me as I am a paragon almost 95% of the time...
Four words : "Ooh, pardon me, Commander." I was like: "Oh yeah, this just got real."
That wink o nthe elevator was really something....
That too. Man, I'm looking around and everyone else has some kind of deep/ meaningful favorite moment. I feel so shallow now, lol.
Edit: Just saw Andy's post about this thread and I agree, it's crazy how well we all mesh together and how little fighting/bickering there's been.
Is it just me or is her accent more pronounced during: "Ooh, pardon me, Commander."?
Cool a group hug
It's the smirk, never mind the wink that gets me. That and when she says "Stop smiling dammit!" you can tell she's trying hard not to smile, even though you can hear the smile in her voice!

Ha, good pic. You should make one with her other favourite combat phrase, "Night Night" We can use it when people head off to bed too, lol.
...I can't believe it's taken us this long to come up with this.
Though I need to go to bed. (I'll probably put up a few pics before I do, I found a bunch earlier today, and there's no reason for Miranda-UK/Europe to miss out!)

Funny, I used Slam on my first runthrough. More than likely going to go for Warp Ammo next time, it just seems like it's more versatile.

Since we don't have the "Night, Night" pic yet this will have to suffice

Com - This one is good, but I was more thinking of the one in the lift, when she gives you the wink, there seems to be a definate quirk to the lips. It's that little "Are you in for a treat!" kinda thing. She does look like she's looking forward to showing Shep just how much fun you can have in the engine room!

One of my favorite Miranda pics, but I don't repost it much because it's already on page one, after all.
