I'm of the opinion that "Shepard" or "Commander" works just fine and dandy 99% of the time, but if the story features some very intimate or otherwise personal moments, using the first name at least part of the time feels right. Even if it might be a different first name than what my own Shepard has, I can overlook it since I feel it makes sense in terms of the story.

She's had a f'd up life, just like everybody else. She just has a different set of defense mechanisms. Honestly, I liked her at the very end, where she disagrees with giving the Collector Base to Illusive Man.

I think this is where giving Shepard a nickname could come in handy.

"Looking forward to it, skipper!"--only Ashley ever called you skipper, and it seemed to strengthen the relationship between the two characters.

Coming up with this for everyone is tough, though.

Also--great screen captures everyone! Nadia delivers as usual, Maviarab had a ton of gorgeous picks, Sir Ulrich has the defining "Definitely Interested!" screencap...Ieldra's Horizon screencap was great (and Grunt in the background...is Grunt+Miranda EVERYONE'S party, lol)...redbadger with the hug...Andy's and Nadia's "Night, Night" stuff...so many great pics, it's going to take me time to upload them all and put the new Miranda ACTION Pics on the front page...



So much Miranda deserves a little bit of Yvonne:









But the mix must be precisely calibrated. Does anyone know anyone with experience in calibrating things?

Yes it is hard.
I have a common first name so most people call me by my last name and really the only people to call me by my first name are my family and girlfriend's... So unless you can come up with a good nickname I think your going to have to "suffer" with the author using a first name

I wouldn't be surprised if the Tali thread is slowing everything down. I think they were using that thread as a "stress test". And now Bioware Social is stressing out, lol.



If they would've locked Tali 2.0 when they locked the first one, they'd be on their way to Tali 4.0. Maybe Tali should just get her own entire board.

Our new goal should be to break the forums, what better way to show off our support for Miranda than that

lol can you imagine them with their own board... we would be second in line though for our own section.

I personally didn't like her. She seemed too much like a Cereberus fanatic and I don't like Cereberus either.
The only thing that I liked about her is the accent and she does look beautiful.
There's one thing I noticed about her though, she has the most realistic human face in the whole game which is kind of eerie. A pity that so far ME hasn't really  had any interesting human companions. I'll take aliens over them any day.

Well if you just look at characters like Miri and make a summary judgement and never get to know them no wonder you do not think there are any interesting human characters.

Miranda has alot of reasons for being loyal to Cerberus but she is hardly a fanatic.
