It's so much more obvious now that Sarah and Chuck still have deep feelings for each other. It seems Chuck is going through a withdrawal from having to burn that nacho kid, and Sarah seems saddened by this. I predict Sarah and Chuck finally getting their looove back on track within the next 3 episodes. Oh, and if only Shaw hadn't swallowed that pill...

During the season premire, I remember Shaw saying "You had your chance". Then Chuck appeared to knock him out. My guess... Hannah helps Chuck realize his feelings for Sarah and he decides to go get her back

after going through her romance arc I can say that she is the most boring romantic arc in the series, even more so than either of the 2 for the original (including ashley). hell the romantic arc in Jade empire was better than hers. she's just another rebellious girl who found a cause that goes against her father's, in short she's just a chick with daddy problems. BORING I have yet to any other ones (other than Tali, who after having her as my romance arc, miranda's was a pretty big dissappointment) so I'll see how it plays out, but it doesnt look good for miranda.
Obviously, I disagree with you and mainly on the 'daddy issue' part. Sure she has issues, but I think it was well told in regards to the standards she puts upon herself (and feels that everyone else does, including Cerberus). To me, I think her character is like a really expensive champagne glass, but with a minute crack running down it's length. She tries to escape her flaws by building walls around her to the extent that not even she can surmount anymore, until at least Shephard comes along and sledgehammers them down.
When i think about it (and I could be totally wrong) she strikes me as a character that is, as Wilson puts it, an 'Ice Queen.' She's told this so much that she accepts it, so when the person she resurrects from the dead turns out to be as good as all the stories about him indicate (lets face it, Shephard is larger than life, he's a genuine hero) and correctly guesses her flaws within lets say weeks of meeting her she is forced to confront her reality and personal flaws. Maybe she finds it liberating? She also finds that she keeps on looking at Shephard's ass (just like Bastilla Shan no doubt) so she's so confused about what she's feeling, she's attracted to our hero, but really afraid of acting on it because she finds that Shephard is exhilarating.

So, I'm not sure if this has been asked before or not, but on the oft chance Nadia you're still awake and reading this thread; how on earth do you manage to get screen captures from your 360?
I know people who capture MW2 videos use a capture card to record videos of their exploits.

Didn't that MI6 agent already try that with Chuck? You'd think he'd learn by now.Arijharn wrote...
I think Shaw was just challenging Chuck to actually actively try to get what he wants as opposed to just 'accepting' everything. The only way he reckons he'd be able to do it is to emotionally attack Chuck.

Probable spoilers for Chuck: Hannah is supposed to leave in the next episode and Shaw has had his number of episodes upped.shinobi602 wrote...

I must be in the minority to actually like Shaw even if he is inbetween Chuck and Sarah.

You'd be hardpressed to find many LIs that don't have daddy issues in the ME universe.Morogrem wrote...

As for Shaw, his episode upping is probably for story progression and to create a conflict between Chuck and Sarah.

I think most people like Shaw and the writers know this... they just need to get Shaw out from between the star crossed couple and most people will warm up easily. The only reason anyone "hates" the guy is because it means more romance angst and most people are tired of that.

But Cole Barker didn't succeed. Shaw is. I find it rather refreshing really to see Sarah Walker getting some 'action,' even if it is just lip-locking (although only Chuck I'm assuming has gotten laid since the show started with Jill when they went for their road trip).
Having said that, everyone knows that Chuck and Sarah will be together, and they'll probably get together in some capacity in that episode where there is two much older spy's who frequently play love birds that's coming up some time. Having said that, it's starting to get inane just how much Chuck (and sarah) ****foot around each other.
Back OT though; Miranda would totally kick Sarah's ass.

Reason why I don't like Shaw's character is because he is arrogant, and that combined with his interference with the romantic tension between Chuck and Sarah is annoying.

Most of that whining for DAO was from Baldur's Gate nostalgists. I've seen it. Many of them still claim that Baldur's Gate II is better than DAO and were quite nitpicky over the details.
But regardless, the hardcore are picky by design... Explains all the pre-release negativity.
Yeah, to read these boards, BG2 probably was the pinnacle of gaming. Ever. I wonder if when BG2 came out, people on the forums (if they existed) claimed that BG1 was better.
And I definitely know people for whom gaming peaked in the 16-bit era, and it's all been downhill ever since. (Could make case that this is fair if you're talking about JRPGs...)
But you're right, the hardcore are super, super picky.
