*snip* in short she's just a chick with daddy problems. *snip*

You'd be hardpressed to find many LIs that don't have daddy issues in the ME universe.

Thanks for your opinion and the free bump!

Seriously...even 'normal guy' Jacob has daddy issues. Garrus talk about Pa Vakarian much in ME2, but in ME1 he definitely talks about living in his father's C-Sec shadow.

I guess Jack doesn't have daddy issues. But she has other issues in spades.

But you're right, the hardcore are super, super picky.

I take offense to that statement. ;)

But then again.. I don't nitpick. I take what's given to me and I make the most of it. I treat each game differently - not as a clone of another one, etc.

Well, I've put a little over an hour into my drawr-ing, and here's the result:

Posted Image

FYI, I'm not actually doing the dress drawing anymore. It's more of a portrait in which Miranda will have her hair up. I'm using a photo of Yvonne for reference, but I'll have to be making some minor changes (the most notable of which being the hair color).

And with that, I'm off to bed. I'll probably pick this up again tomorrow evening.

So, I'm not sure if this has been asked before or not, but on the oft chance Nadia you're still awake and reading this thread; how on earth do you manage to get screen captures from your 360?

I'm always awake  B)

I have a wicked digital camera.. sometimes it works better than others. Plus I have my HDtv which is wicked and it seals the deal.

Oh, and quite a bit of time on my hands too I guess. :lol:

That's a good attitude.

Seriously, if you don't like playing video games...don't play video games. (I even loved you, Hearts of Iron 3, with your buggy weather and terrible AI.)

This looks really good. Even without the hair, it is recognizably Miranda/Yvonne.

I'm pretty sure I know which pic is being used as a reference and I whole-heartedly approve. Nice work on the drawing so far!

nice work on the pic toshi! I would try to draw miranda but she'd come out looking like portia derossi or something.

Love the drawing, Toshi!

@Com - Absolutely. It's ridiculous how demanding some people can be. I can understand a bit of it if it's like.. a sequel to the game (IE: ME1 to ME2) but comparing it to something TOTALLY different is absolutely ridiculous.

I really like Miranda. She is a lot of fun. Sure she has her issues, but why would she be working for Cerberus in the first place if she didn't have any issues? ^^;

If someone wants to draw Miranda taking a crap, this is the best reference photo you could ask for.

To quote from ME1, "Everyone has baggage, you just need to find a pair that matches."

Characters without any issues/problems are boring anyway ;)

Honestly, its the honest ones you've got to look out for, because you never know, when they're going to do, something... completely.... stupid! :wizard:
