I like how after the main-game is over you can invite Miranda up to your room and all, but it's honestly rather boring (because obviously, what sort of content could they really put in it?)

No, she needed to look a tiny bit different because Oriana was younger.
I think you missed my joke
Yah I didwhat was it?
If Oriana looked exactly like Miranda but had blonde hair she'd be Yvonne Strahovski!

Ok, see that proves that am obviously still not wide awake as that should have been so blatantly obvious

I was just thinking that I actually feel sorry for the Talimancers. The only real life outlet they have for their Tali adoration is her VA, Liz Sroka. Now they all say that she's hot, however she's several leagues of hotness beneath our own outlet for adoration: Miss Yvonne Strahovski.
Whenever we look at Miranda we're looking at Yvonne with dyed hair and hearing how Yvonne naturally sounds. Whenever they look at Tali they don't see Liz and they don't hear her natural voice seeing as Liz puts on an accent which is then run through a mild synth. All in all I think we should pity them.

Well I'm not going to start bashing Tali/Tali Fans/Liz Sroka because this is a Miri looove thread, but let's just say Yvonne is leagues above many.
I'm not bashing any of the above, just saying that we have it so very much better than they do

As for the age thing, I don't believe that influences whether you like Miranda or not. I think it has more to do with maturity.
Now, it seems to me a lot of people don't actually know what maturity is. IMO, there are two types of immature people that constantly crop up in these kinds of discussions, the droolers ("Boobs!!! Butt!!!") and the pseudo-mature ("It's personality that counts, those who care for looks are immature!!!!!"). The droolers, well, there's not much to say. At least they're honest.
It's the pseudo-mature that ****** me off. They act all high and mighty, criticizing anyone that says anything positive on a physical level, while displaying a complete lack of understanding how meaningful romantic relationships really are and what they involve. Of course you've got to admire and love someone for their mind, but if you're not attracted to their body as well, it's not a romantic relationship, it's friendship.
Maturity comes from understanding the importance of both mind and body in a true relationship.
I'm 28 and even 10 years ago I would've definitely preferred Miranda over the other LIs. She has the kind of attitude and personality that has always attracted me. Combine that with her looks and there's just no way I can resist.

Thanks for the comments on my fic. I'll try to edit that chapter some more and describe the collecter ship in a little bit more detail. The only reason why I still call it a cruiser was because it was a cruiser. The bridge officer called it such in the game. I was really hoping to add detail at Freedom's Progress when Shepard and Co. see it up close and personal.
That and it's HARD to describe.
As for your other bits, "air" is right. Mea Culpa. I'll correct that too.
Chapter 2 is coming along nicely with some additional info in the background while Shepard is asleep. Mainly Miranda stuff. I'll try to get it up today if not tomorrow. Trying to play the game and type up this story is hard work.
@Everyone. Anyone help with the description of the Collector ship? Much appreciated.
@Lichenstien:
That movie rocked (Pun not intended) Heath Ledger, RIP.

BTW: I would like to hear some other opinions on this: I actually prefer the "shoes" or "boots" that Chakwas is wearing, as opposed to the high heels on Miranda and Samara. What do you Miranda fans think? I just think those heels weren't one of the BW artists' strong suites is all.

Yeah they not exactly sci-fi or right for the envirmoment but meh....who cares....dig girls in heels lol
Too many women are becoming men in my opinion, I like a woman to be womanly, hell if I wanted her to look like a bloke I'd go out with a bloke, I want a woman to be a woman (maybe old fashioned and 'slightly' sexist I admit, but the way I am), so bring on the heels

Writing fanfiction using game characters has always been difficult for me, especially for games where the characters have such rich histories and are almost fully fleshed out. It's so difficult to try and stay true to the character and not take too many liberties.

Sorry but I am a sucker for FMBs so, I really like those that Miri and Samara wear.
