I'm not so sure about the choker, though. It's supposed to be more of a formal attire. Would she really wear it all the time?

They shouldn't Paragonize Miri. Not too much, anyway.
She should remain someone who challenges Shepard, and at times even one ups him (tho not often, Shepard is the hero after all). Above all, she should never be too needy or childish. Leave that to the Talimance. If she's mostly self sufficient, the vulnerable moments, rare as they are, become that much more precious.
Heh I cannot see Miranda ever being needy or childish.

I was about to say: lose the tan and dye her hair black and it's perfect.

FIrst, I do not consider keeping the base a Renegade action. And the opposite not necessarily a Paragon one. That the game tells me differently doesn't matter - I don't subscribe to any kind of this "better not to know" nonsense. As a rule, with a new technology, you have the option to use it well or to use it badly. You don't usually have the option not to use it. Destroy the knowledge, and sooner rather than later the wrong people will use it.Ulicus wrote...
So, assuming you've romanced Miranda as a paragon and continue it into ME3: what are people expecting of her? I mean, she balked at keeping the Collector base, and - if you destroyed it - she sided with Shep over the Illusive Man... but she's still a woman who not only expressed no regret over Cerberus' actions in ME1 but was an active apologist.
Just curious to hear what other people think about that. As much as I like Miranda, I keep thinking about Admiral Kahoku... and all those experiments that "crossed the line" that she seemed to have no problem with whatsoever.
(Renegades need not apply)
Second, Miranda doesn't justify the Cerberus actions we witnessed in ME1. TiM said rogue cells were responsible, if I recall things correctly. It's also possible she didn't know all of it. I'm inclined to give her the benefit of the doubt. Apart from that, having differences in opinion does not necessarily prevent a loving relationship. It may even enhance it.
Third, I usually play mostly Paragon, but I see 100% as unrealistic. I have no problems with a mainly Paragon Shepard making a few renegade decisions, even in the big things, just as in ME1, even my renegade Shepards never killed the Rachni queen. In fact, I enjoyed making the big decisions against the general trend in many cases. So my most Paragon Shepard didn't save the Council, and my most Renegade one did. (BTW, you do have four different endings in ME1). I neither believe in moral absolutes.....
...nor in attainable perfection. But Miranda does come close

Ah...the only formal dresses we see in the ME universe are those full length things people like Emily Wong and the Asari wear sometimes.
But a little artistic license is alright...draw her shoudlers with the straps of her dress or something?

Being self-sufficient and confident does not mean you're Renegade. I like Miranda as she is. If she changes her stance on certain things, that's OK with me, if she doesn't, that's OK as well. But her personality shouldn't change. Fortunately, I don't see Bioware doing such a thing.

I wouldn't even really call those formal. Those dresses are hideous, IMO, though. If I do anything it will basically just be a modern dress (as opposed to trying to make a futurisitic looking one). I'll probably do a drawing of her with her usual hairstyle and get-up later.
But yeah, It would basically just be the shoulders, although I was considering coloring the dress straps, but me and coloring usually involves irreversible mistakes.

Yeah her psychological defense is always the 'If only the Tsar knew' rationalization. It just shows that even the most brilliant minds can fall victim to that.
I mean yes obviously the Subject Zero project went a little off the rails but the project was pretty horrific to begin with not even considering after it went rogue.

For the psychological defense, the thing is we really don't know. I'd like to have more insight into the structure of Cerberus in order to know. I refuse to judge anyone if his or her defense isn't highly implausible. Then there is the fact that Cerberus brings Shepard back, *without* that notorious control chip and that TiM gives Shepard the means of defeating the Collectors. Whatever earlier actions were, that does count for something. They deserve a second chance. (although TiM's eyes are troubling...)
There's also this: it may be wrong that the end always justifies the means, but I do think that different ends justify different means. If survival is at stake, a lot more can be justified than for other ends (and no, I'm not trying to justify the experiments on unwilling humans etc.). BTW, this is how fascism works: it creates an illusory threat from without in order to justify its actions within in the name of survival. So this reasoning is really as double-edged as it comes. But true nonetheless IMO.

I love Yahtzee's reviews even when he tears up a game that I might like- he clearly liked ME2 quite a bit since his complaints (scanner) are pretty commonly held. And yes his idea at the end is brilliant- screw the Mako or Hammerhead, I want jetpacks!!!

Yeah. As some one said, his "reviews" are more like comedy roasts than they are reviews. I find them to be pretty hilarious, especially the DA:O one ("You are an elf!").
