This looks great, like it'll be on Shepard's desk in ME3.

Miranda Shepard

My Shepard whole heartedly approves of this.

My Shepard does not. He does not like the symbolism of taking another's name. It makes her seem less significant.

BTW, congrats for 300+ pages. Of course it had to happen while I was sleeping.

I missed it, too Ieldra.

The Lawson-Shepards? Hmm.....

My only problem is not being able to romance her with female Shepard. Kind of a low blow. :(

But I guess I will make a male Shepard later just to get romantic with her, unless BioWare wouldn't mind being so caring to me!

There is a desk up there so it's not like that'll be a problem.

I have to give my support to Ms. Lawson. I haven't read too many of the other pages, but how many people here agree with me that Shepard and Miranda are the perfect couple.

LOL! How can you ask? Just about everyone, I guess!

One thing I don't understand is why everyone think it's... absolutely necessary to have every romanceable LI be able to go both ways?

Is it that hard to understand not everyone is into that kind've thing? Especially video game characters?

(Not saying I'm against homosexuality - I just don't understand why people think it's required for every romance to be able to develop for both genders.)

Yes, I think they complement each other nicely. :) The look good together too (with the default male shep anyway).

Agree, plus there's the VA, granted they are only talking but there are many factors that have to be considered that I am currently too tired to elaborate on but they're there.

You should see fanfiction.net, there is a 40 000 word story of a female Shepard romancing Ashley Williams, but from Ash's perspective.....was interesting at first but a bit wierd later on. What I struggle to understand is the multiple alien men available to female Shepards.....Garrus / Thane really? That is freakin sick! I understand Asari or maby even Quarians but Turians and Drells, eewww!

@Breakdown;

Boom - not exactly a full-blown romance, but it's a female/female thing and the individual isn't an alien.

I understand the point - the choices for female LIs are clearly not as strong as the male LIs, but I just don't understand why people are getting so angsty about it.

Uh oh.

The blast had knocked Shepard to his back – and sent his vision into blackness. His head was throbbing with a dull pain and his hearing was shot, any sounds being drowned out by a loud ringing noise that threatened to make Shepard nauseous. He had been near explosions before – but it was the first time he had ever taken a Scion’s shockwave head on – and he regretted taking the risk of trying to get behind a closer cover.

As he rolled over onto all fours, Shepard felt a warm liquid begin to flow down his side. He put a hand there to feel exactly what it was – and was shocked to realize that it was blood – his blood. His suit had been breached and where there had once been skin – there was nothing but bare muscle and ribs.

Shepard began to ferociously blink his eyes – trying to regain any sort of vision, and as it came back to him, and into a clearer focus – he realized the cost of his mistake.

Shepard had only been scratched by the shockwave. It was Jack, following right behind him, who had taken the blunt of the blast. Her body had been ripped to shreds and it unrecognizable – the only clue being the tattered remnants of skin which showed off her once unique tattoos.

Saying a quick prayer for the fallen, Shepard pushed himself up – and looked around the battlefield for Garrus. His old friend had taken position behind an obelisk – and was unleashing sniper rifles rounds into the still standing Scion. Upon seeing his Commander back up and move behind cover, he called out;

“Are you alright, Shepard!?”
“I am… but Jack isn’t.”

“It’s a tough loss, Shepard – but we need to keep moving – Bravo team is probably not having an easy time getting to that door either.”

Giving a nod, and giving one last look at the remains of his old teammate, Shepard activated the incendiary extension on his assault rifle – aimed down the scope at the Scion’s fleshy head – and unleashed hell.

Watching with satisfaction as the rounds ignited with the volatile blood of the scion, Shepard jumped over his cover, and withdrew his shotgun from his back, “Garrus – keep it staggering.”

Shepard felt the heat of the sniper rounds on his neck as they passed over his shoulder and into the beast. As he neared the scion, Shepard put all of his might into shoving the butt of his shotgun into the beast, knocking it on its back. Jumping on top of the fallen creature, Shepard let loose a round directly into its mouth.

Garrus jogged up to Shepard, smirking, “You enjoyed that, didn’t you?”

Haha, that was great! I wish you could kill a Scion like that in the game. Great work Rath & Meg, you're getting better and better. Image IPB

Hey folks. I guess I'd count myself a Tali fan, but I'm glad to see Miranda's thread going strong. I have a place in my heart for all the romances in ME2, I thought they were all quite good. Hottie Lawson's was certainly the sexiest!

Congrats on hitting the 300 page mark :)

I think the fact they they are not like that it makes them feel more real. In the real world people are not like that and just sleep with anyone and everyone well at least most are not like that. Male Shepards do have better choices though.

Indeed. My femSheps usually stay unromanced. I've just posted in the Garrus thread I wish he was human - I just can't imagine romance with someone whose head looks like bird's. I'd like to put it like this: as a femShep in ME2, we have the choice between a bird, a frog and a bore. Not exactly romance material, great personalities notwithstanding. Never thought I'd miss Kaidan - who was OK as a romance, just not good enough for a femShep who's like Miranda in that she settles for nothing but the best.

Ah, Jacob. He was disappointing although for a different reason for me. I was really hoping my Shepard would have a buddy in ME2 and I thought there was room for Jacob to fill that role that Kaidan so badly failed to do in ME1. Jacob started off pretty cool but then he just seemed to get really boring. It pissed me off a bit when he was always forcing his way into the briefings after a recruitment, I thought Miri was my second in command!

Sorry, I know this is a loooove thread, and I'm not flaming these characters but I just needed to let that out.
