Edit: Congratualtions on 600 members, and 300 pages (I'm 14 pages late, I know..). The one time I become busy is when we hit two milestones.

It's Miranda's room. We said that in an earlier chapter, so hopefully you'll see that when you eventually read it in it's entirety.firecleaner wrote...

Aww, that was great Rath/Meg. Beautifully written and, as usual, very true to the characters. I want this scene in ME3!!!

Yes, I didn't get the lighting right in the second one. For that reason, I prefer the first one. You can't see as much of Miranda's face, but what you see is more realistic. I never get her face right when there are shadows, it must be a profile shot or in almost direct frontal light as in the one from Illium. I tried to get her face that red light you can see a glimpse of, but it didn't work. I wish we had a pose mod for ME2 - I recall the screenshots I made of Oblivion characters (all heavily modded, of course - I can't stand it unmodded). Naturally, not on ME2's level at all graphically, but there were some nice tools we could use to enhance the shots - pose mods, light gems in different colors etc..Maviarab wrote...
Good shots Ield....
Hate though the way she can look at times in the game, she so much better in the cut scenes when she been rendered correctly. She very shadowy i've found from the ones ive taken in game.

There was a breakdown? I thought I had seen everything in that scene? I also understood the change, but only in my second playthrough when I could pay attention to the subtleties. I didn't exactly like the way she turned out, but I can appreciate it from a storytelling viewpoint. This version is a lot more interesting than the ME1 version, but that version is still hidden somewhere within.Rathias0114 wrote...
Exactly - and I think a lot of people that are upset with how she turned out either got unlucky and picked the wrong dialogue choice (thus not seeing her breakdown) or just don't understand that over the course of two years, a lot can happen.firecleaner wrote...

Personally, I understood the change.
When you go through what she did - you don't come out the same.
I mean, come on - no way in hell you're going to tell me that Shepard was this ultimate tactician and fighter before Akuze? ... or whatever.
People change - and I liked the way she turned out.
That is true the characters dont see the two year pass by... I guess it is true to life, if you go into a coma and come out two years later things will be different.

Thank you again for all the compliments everyone - though, I have to say, that entire excerpt was written by Meg - so most of the credit for it goes to her.
Also; Mavi - you tease me.
Stop posting Rath! You and Meg need to work non-stop with no sleep until your fanfic is ready. I hope you have plenty of coffee

They are making one of Thane and generic Shepard (not my Shepard) and others...
Same with Dragon Age except no Leliana.
I mean seriously if your going to make an action figure of everyone else why not one of Miranda or Leliana?
Hell I want one of Ashley and Liara along with Samara!
I can't buy any of the other figures now all the ones I named I would gladly give my money for.

@Kalen: I can see the "Sorry Miranda, I'm leaving you for Yvonne" cutscene right now.

And Rath gives me too much credit. He edited quite a bit and enhanced it greatly in the process. Team effort all the way.

Silence! Back to your rooms until you have finished!
@andy - It's good how Virmire can be used so many different ways after the suicide mission to gauge Shepard's thoughts isn't it?

Did anyone notice that if you take her with you to the cargo hold during the last mission, she will still tell Shepard they're about to clear the debris field over the intercom?
Y'know, at first I thought it was her, but I came to the conclusion that it was EDI saying it, however I don't play with subtitles on, so I might be wrong.

There is a lot of pressure on both of their shoulders - and making anything even close to the wrong choice could cause repercussions beyond repair.
