Little of top but let me just say its nice to come here ever so often when can during the day, and find and read some of your guys fanfictions, youe comments here about one of the best characters in ME2 and easily my favorite, andacutally read people comments the have some of the same view on her i do, instead of some of the stupid basing of her cause she was in ME1 or isnt Tali<good character dont get me wrong> and never tried to learn one the character she was cause of thoughs reasons.



Side Note that i just want ti say OMG not sure how many times ive play ME2 and im truely not sure if thiers a better squadmate then Miranda she kicks ass, i mean damn

Absolutely. Especially with what you said about getting everybody out of the suicide mission alive and then linking that back to Virmire. That's how I felt too.

Not really related to Virmire, but on topic, I actually used the suicide mission to turn my ultra renegade down a paragon route. He'd been an evil badass his whole career, including sacrificing his squad on Torfan. I then decided he would start turning paragon (the original plan was for him to have a paragon romance with Jack and that would be what changed him, but I messed it up somehow, so I ended up with the "just friends" ending with Miri) and I got him to keep the whole crew/squad alive. I know this kind of thing is only really relatable if you really get into role playing your charcter very deeply, but for me it's very satisfying. That character will now go much more paragon in ME3, although he may slip a bit too, who knows...

Sorry for rambling on by the way. I don't know how much of what I just wrote makes sense but, there you go.

I had no idea because yesterday IGN was showing off the toyfair and only had the ones I named off of but none of Miranda etc...
That is too cool.
Miranda gets my buy and so does Legion along with Garrus most likely.
Now all they need to do is give me one of Ashley and Liara along with Samara and Dragon age Leliana and I'm a happy customer. I'll be content.
Knowing there is a Miranda one coming out made my day.
Now all I need is a Miranda t-shirt and I'm set.

I'm surprised they usually never release the stuff I want such as the Miranda figure.
Ever since I was a kid I always wanted a Star Trek Enterprise from the Kirk era movies of that ship and never once did they make it and same with Dare from ODST.
I don't understand why they leave some of the best things for last or not at all.
Wow and just in time for my birthday if God willing it does come out December the one of Miranda!

I'm surprised they were even making any GI Joe Real American Hero Resolute toys since it all seems to be mostly for that sell out garbage of a movie they call GI Joe.
It's nice I can get a Scarlett figure of her from the Resolute cartoon short.

Character evolution is something I really want to come from my Shepard. He's sort of this stoic, disconnected guy in ME 1 whose never been able to have a friend because they always die, so he keeps people at a distance. He was still mostly a Paragon, but he has a Renegade edge to him. I played him in ME 2 quite similarly, but I sort of figured Miranda would either be his salvation or his downfall. His attraction to her was enough for him to cave and actually start to care about someone again (something that happens anyways, he just tries to fight it usually). My plan was that if Miranda lived, he would open up to people more in the future. If she died however, he would have been extremely bitter and Renegade in ME3, and I would have been completely alright without a sacrifice ending in the end.

Luckily, Miranda is alive and well.

EDIT: On another note, I have a sort of Shepard characterization aid I made up. It's basically a list of traits where it asks (for example) "enthusiastic or apathetic?", and then you choose one. I can PM to anyone interested.

What you said made perfect sense Andy. My Shepard has always been a Paragon (Colonist/War Hero) but occassionally done something Renegade. ME limited me somewhat in what I could do Renegade and yet stay in character. ME2's interrupts allowed me to realize my vision of Shepard. Yes he's a Paragon, but he's not going to shy away from a fight. More or less every Renegade interrupt I can do from Garrus' recruitment mission onwards I do. The heroic badass basically.



When it comes to Virmire, Kaidan asked how I got over the losses at Elysium (War Hero). Shepard's response was that he vowed to do better for those he failed to protect and it's the same after Virmire. He vowed to do better for Ash, the friend he left to die. The suicide mission allowed him to do better for her and for everyone on Elysium who didn't make it.

Yeah, not sure why wave 1 of the action figures doesn't hit until August. O.o I would have figured Miranda for wave 1, but I guess they need someone to "headline" wave 2.

Yeah. It's sort of black and white, I know, but I found it helped me characterize my Shepard.

Sort of? It's pretty much pure clear cut Paragon and pure clear cut Renegade!

The way I suppose I could describe my Shepard is a good man with a good heart who strives to do the right thing the right way, but you really don't want to screw with him.  In ME that was almost impossible to portray, but thanks to ME2's interrupts I find it much easier to accurately portray.
