For me the way she looks now is perfect, but as a brunette? One can only dream haha..
Okay back to Miranda, did anybody have her save your life during battle?I remember facing a bunch of Blue Sun Mercs and was low on health and one came from behind me and Miranda killed him and saved me,what a woman.
There were a few instances against heavy mechs that her powers recharged just in time to use a heavy overload and save my ass. She also rarely died on my playthroughs, I noticed. How was her endurance with everyone else? Wow, I just realized how wrong that sounds...

I can not picture Miranda without her accent.
Yvonne is absolutely incredible with her accents. her English in Chuck is practically perfect. If I remember correctly in one episode she needs to portray an aussie representative of some sort. You can then hear her real accent in that role. Just lovely.
which episode is it?
any links?
season 2 episode 6.
here ya go!:

oh she IS tough...lol
but seriously I remember one time we where totally cornered and attacked from every possible direction. as i'm taking cover i lean around to look at what's going on and what do I see? Miranda. Just standing straight up on top of a box or something like that, with no cover and she really was pwning everyone. Man she looked so kick-ass. Love at first sight.

I liked Miranda. I was quite curious about her character. Loved how (spoiler) she told TIM to go screw himself at the end.
But… I did find Miranda’s romance scene a bit emotionally anticlimactic, though. I really couldn’t say why. I like it when there’s a brief conversation leading up to it. With Miranda, it was sort of just like, “I’ve cleared the engine deck, let’s go bang!”

Like Captain Kirk I don't believe in a no win. Some one has to die scenario.

Ya I'd have to say that my favorite part in the game with Miranda was when she told off TIM or when we saved her sis. I can't choose between them.

Her romance scene actually meant something to me, to be honest. It's the most.. well, visual sex scene in the game - but how it leads up symbolizes a lot more. To me, how they embraced each other symbolized a deep passion for one another. I understand the whole "I cleared the engine deck" thing - but that's to play to the coyness of her character.
If there is a heavy chance that this will be her night alive - she'd want the best out of it, I think both parties would. It was, to me, a romantic and fun love scene. You saw the romantic side of it when Shepard approached her - followed by the fun part of it.

Welcome to the thread!
I also missed the lead-in conversation (all you have is an "are you sure?") And I also miss the ME1 'afterglow' conversation (even if Shepard was mysteriously completely dressed while Ash/Liara/Kaiden is nekkid.) And it's not like Miranda/Shepard's relationship is secretive (all the other women on the ship seem to know about it. So does Mordin, but I'll attribute that to his STG tricks.)
But I did like the wink

I have played through twice and still couldn't resisit her. I am sticking with my opinion that all characters need to stay in and finish the fight. Further more. I loved the idea that if I chose the people with the right qualifications no one had to die.

yeah I know. Everyone survived during my first playthrought but man did Miranda scared me and more than a couple of times. First she gets shot randomly in the stomach.....then stand back up and is all ok. Then she almost fell to her death...but I catched her and it was all okay. Finally I see her under a freakishly huge pillar that seems to have collapsed on her...but I got her out and she was allo ok. Whoa that was a real rollercoaster!

Lol. It does sort of seem superficial, but I saw their silence as a sort of symbol for how comfortable they already felt with each other. There was nothing they needed to say because they already knew how the other felt. I thought the part of the scene where Shepard put his hands on her hips and just held her for a second was really intimate and said more than any words could. Just my take though.
Anyway, welcome! Hope you stick around.

I still loved Miranda's romance, and even though I would've preferred some kind of conversation (maybe Shepard saying something that a hopeless romantic like me would love, like "You're beautiful to me for you and not what your father and the Illusive Man have made you") I felt that when Miranda said, "Promise me you won't die", it said a lot.

(Although I've completely given up on remotely following the Tali threads. I still like Tali, but it seems like she'll do ok in ME3.)

Also to add to the romance scene, who else thought it was peepshow for Thane,Jacob, and Mordin?Seeing as there are windows in each person's room that overlooks the engine core,it would make me feel somewhat...awkward,being watched while making love.
Actually, I went to every crew member's area of the ship and looked into the engine room and you can't see the little balcony thing from any of their rooms. My theory is that it's the only place on the entire ship that has absolute privacy. It would also explain why Tali always leads Shep there when they talk about their relationship.

I agree with Snake, I went to bed and then spent the rest of the day playing ME2, and when I come here to check in, I'm hopelessly lost...oh well, time to pick through the 10 + pages for noteworthy musings.
EDIT: as far as I know, there is no such thing as too much Miranda love...well, if it exists, I haven't seen it yet.

Thank you, I try my best to adequatly help others understand how what looks like a "fling" kind've sex scene.. could have more meaning just by understanding body language.
In regards to her survivability, I tend to have more problems with my 2nd squadmate then her. She always seemed to be the one who would conservative in her fighting - and always knew exactly which mech to focus on. Maybe I just got lucky with my game - I'm not complaining.
I'll take her Squad +Health and +Dmg over any other squadmate anyday..

I was hoping for some more romantic dialogue/banter between them too, not just during the romance scene, but at any time. But good news: Bioware loves their fans so if we're vocal enough about it, maybe they'll agree and add that into ME3! *fingers crossed*

Like I mentioned before - the body language between the two spoke more about their relationship than any verbal words could.
