I still loved Miranda's romance, and even though I would've preferred some kind of conversation (maybe Shepard saying something that a hopeless romantic like me would love, like "You're beautiful to me for you and not what your father and the Illusive Man have made you") I felt that when Miranda said, "Promise me you won't die", it said a lot.

I was hoping for some more romantic dialogue/banter between them too, not just during the romance scene, but at any time. But good news: Bioware loves their fans so if we're vocal enough about it, maybe they'll agree and add that into ME3! *fingers crossed*

Am I the only one that found Mark Meer's delivery of the flirty dialogue a bit creepy?

Also to add to the romance scene, who else thought it was peepshow for Thane,Jacob, and Mordin?Seeing as there are windows in each person's room that overlooks the engine core,it would make me feel somewhat...awkward,being watched while making love.

I think that Joker was still in the vents too

I didn’t know Miranda’s romance scene was the “most visual”. Haven’t explored the others yet as maleShep.

What does that mean, exactly? That the others don’t show as much skin? Jack’s would show as much skin just by default, wouldn’t it? Are the other romance scenes shorter, or something?

Actually, I went to every crew member's area of the ship and looked into the engine room and you can't see the little balcony thing from any of their rooms. My theory is that it's the only place on the entire ship that has absolute privacy. It would also explain why Tali always leads Shep there when they talk about their relationship.

I Was more worried that EDI was watching -_-

The lust was apparent - and I guess you could count Jack's as well - but Jack didn't flash everyone her lack of bra.

Thank the Maker.

Thanks man, it just kind came to me and I felt like it needed to be done. B)

But to be on topic (sort of) I can totally see Tali doing that for some odd reason.

No, even with all me and miranda have been through, shes just your typical perfect bodied women with family problems, BORING, still wish she could be killed easier in the suicide mission but noooo, she has to be the in second command crap even though jacob was chosen for the fire team, so pointless, might as well strap me to the A bomb on the suicide mission and have it blow up as soon as i pull out my guns, no one will die cause it wasnt SCRIPTED

Like I mentioned before - the body language between the two spoke more about their relationship than any verbal words could.

That's true actually. Like when Shep compliments her body and she steps forward a little and touches his shoulder. You could tell she wanted him then. Not necessarily in a sexual way, but just to be with him. I thought it spoke volumes.

That said, I also really liked the flirty dialogue at times too. I think they complemented each other well.

You're both right, re: body language, and it's a well-staged scene...

BUT...in a game, you're drawn in more when there's an interactive element.

Would've liked at least ONE dialogue wheel afterwards.

But as I've said elsewhere, the whole big-night-before-the-last-battle thing doesn't work as well for me as the relationships in DAO, where you can romance a character relatively early, and even have a few follow-on conversations afterwards. Gives more of a feeling of relationship between the two characters.

Here's hoping ME3 will provide that level of continuity with your ME1/2 LI.

You could have Garrus as the second team leader. He and Jacob work also.

I'm sorry you don't like her. I think she's a great character, but obviously not everyone is going to see her that way. What do you think Bioware could have done to improve her?

Most of the ACTUAL romantic dialogue I thought was pretty good.
Exhibit A in my Voiced vs. Unvoiced Presentation in Games was:
"So I can't admire your body or mind?"
"Actually, I wouldn't mind if you'd admire my body a little bit more."

Which was much more powerful spoken then selected from a dialogue tree by a mute PC. (I even like the ME1 line..."Everyone has baggage, Ash, you just need to find someone with a pair that matches.")

On the other hand, "Oh, I'm definitely interested!" is pretty terrible. But that's partly because like, "I have to go", or "Show me your items", I heard it a lot.

I love EDI. I think she was too preoccupied busting Joker's balls by that point anyway.

She is way too stunning. I have like 12 more, but I'll post one more for now. This is probably my favorite of her. She is blowing my mind right now... *trying to keep it together*

There were some lines I hated from him. Like the "Oh, I'm definitely interested".

Ugh. Just ugh. With a side of ugh.

Lucky for me - I never went with much of the flirty dialogue. Got a quick make out session - didn't make her the promise that I wouldn't die - and pretty much acted how I would've acted.

Also helped that I saved everytime before I talked to her - to review all the choices and pick the outcome I enjoyed the most. ;)

The make out scene was fantastic, by the way.
