I totally know what you mean. I love the extra interaction if you go back to your cabin after the final mission...It's not much, it's simple, but it's satisfying and with a bit of luck it's a proof that ME3 will take the LI stuff even more seriously.
Great. Now there’s apparently some make out scene I never even saw and something that goes on in the cabin after the final mission?
LOL. if you go back and play go to your cabin and then you can call up your LI through your intercom next to your PC. when she's there (takes a second or two...) you have the option to basically interact with her either on the couch or on the bed. Go check it out!

Not a make out scene. You can call Miranda up to your cabin and she'll show up sitting on your couch. Then you can sit on the couch with her on your lap and watch as they appear to talk. You can also go to the bed and cuddle. It's very sweet, although the leg humping is a bit odd.

It's the conversation when Miranda brings up "We're going to hell and I'm falling in LOVE with you?"
It either the first or second conversation you have with her after her loyalty mission - it's the same one that has the "I wouldn't mind admiring your body" comment.
You could choose the admire body comment or "Are you jealous?" - the Jealous choice leads to the make out scene.
In regards to the end - after the final mission, go talk to Miranda, then go up to your Cabin. Next to your private terminal - is a thing where you can Miranda up to your room and you can either lay in bed with her - or sit on the couch with her.

Well, I actually prefer the dialogue to the kiss...saying something dopey is more like what my Paragon Shepard would do =).
But after the final mission you can call your LI up to your cabin to cuddle; it's next to your private terminal. You can cuddle on the couch, or cuddle on the bed. It's a nice touch. There may be some clipping issues animation-wise.

Also when she asks you to promise not to die pick the "no promises" option, you'll like it

We should totally petition Bioware to give us acess to a emoticon of a person eating nachos.
I'd use it even when it isn't appropriate.

There's times when nacho eating isn't appropriate?
