baedeker-Many good points. Personally, I took her "me first" superiority in places a relic of being designed to be perfect, and operating at a high level. I know many high-performing, "A-type" personalities who are the same way--they act like they're just that good, and a lot of the time they are. A lot of times they need to work on their people skills, though. (Part of why I had Garrus lead both fire teams...) Also a good point on the Collector station being just another version of the Mass Effect Relays and Citadel station. If you depend on technology provided by the Reapers, the Reapers are ultimately the ones in control.



And yes, the 'ice queen melting' bit was coming from a mile away, but it was still well-executed and powerful.



And although she works for Cerberus, she comes off as no more anti-alien then (say) Kelly or any of the rest of your crew. Her justification for Cerberus is that other alien races have groups like it, so humanity can't be left behind. (Arab proverb: You must be a wolf, or the wolves will eat you.) She certainly isn't hostile to the alien squadmates.

That is a good line. Another good one is in the beginning when she shoots Wilson. Jacob asks her "You really think Wilson was capable of that?" and she looks at Wilson's body on the floor and then says "Not anymore".

i understand where you are coming from but Tali really is racist. There was a confrontation b/w the 2 and fortunately, since i was 100% Paragorn by then, i lost no loyalty from either (yeah 100% Paragorn rocks coz i have all 12 members being loyal right to the end of the game/story).

Now, i can understand if the average Quadrian is racist and wants to nuke all Geth to data bits but Tali should not be your "average" Quadrian, know what i mean?

Especially since after i had played her loyalty mission and there was 1 Admiral who was a Geth apologeticist and 1 who was neutral to nuking them and this was even before i recruited Legion into my party. Now, going by that timeline before it was revealed to us, the players/readers (yes, to me, ME is like a big interactive story book and especially to my 5 yr old daughter  ) that there are 2 camps of Geth; there already were at least 3 different opinions on the Geth by the Quadrians alebit the Pacificist approach is roughly 1/4 of the Quadiran population. However, the fact remains is that at least some Quadrians are Geth Apologetics (different from Sympathisers but very similar) and obviously Tali isn't one of them. So even if she is not racist, she is surely prejudiced.

To be fair, until, the Legion story arc came along, so was i but once i knew the truth and i spared the Heretics from being wiped out and chose to "reprogramme" i.e. brainwash them instead since they were simply "misguided". I doubt that Tali would have liked that. In my next play though, i will bring Tali along for Legion's loyalty mission and see if she advocates killing all Geth. My money is that she would and would hate me for sparing them.

Don't want to spoil the fun of it, but Tali does caution against re-writing the heretics because it will make Legion's Geth stronger. (Dunno if that's just Tali, or whatever squadmate you ahve with you gives this second opinion.) She does have a few comments about "wow, the Geth are more advanced/civilized/cultured then I though".

I feel like the Quarians come off as overall less sympathetic then Legion's Geth in ME2. Still, as an outside observer, I couldn't help but think this is the kind of cycle of bloodshed and revenge tthat can go on and on for centuries, even in the real world.
