And I was really hoping the alternate Garrus costume would have his armor fixed.

omggg ppl- some of these people on the threads are so hateful towards characters that don't even exist! it's scary! there is a jack thread and they are posting all these stats and etc about jack and how she sucks!
it's one thing to sit and say 'omg! this character is so funny, and the missions are great, etc' but why sit there and discuss how awful a crew member is because of their FICTIONAL history?
omg-- i think people lose themselves in UN-reality sometimes.... i'm afraid!!!
someone get chuck!!!!
That's why I like our thread, we're a pretty positive lot for the most part.
I did go to read the Jack thread, and there's a lot of "Jack sucks", and someone will argue, "Well Jack doesn't suck, Miranda sucks!" Because apparently liking multiple character doesn't fly. If you're going to totally dork out and post on a video game forum about a fictional character, it should be about a character you enjoyed.
There are characters I don't care for....and I just don't post on those threads. Those people should have their fun!

Heh, I wouln't mind seeing Miranda wear those outfits on ship (you know the black and white cerberus ones) but hopefully in ME3 the characters will at least stop wearing high heals in combat.
I never noticed her in heels tbh, other than in cut-scenes. I'm usually trying to shoot someone so I'm trying not to notice my squad that much (unless they're doing something stupid, like not shooting, or getting stuck trying to take cover/etc)

"After resuming his vacation on the Arcturian Jade, Jacob is watching a news report about Jath'Amon's arrest when he is surprised by a noise behind him. After grabbing his assault rifle, he realizes the intruder is Miranda, with a bottle of champagne and a smile. "
Poor Jacob gets sidelined in ME2....but as we brought up a few pages back, it's nice that it's implied that Shepard isn't Miranda's first relationship. Makes her more the 'mature, accomplished woman' love interest.

Jacob didn't have the dancing moves that was needed to be with Miranda, unlike Shepard.

Yeah, I played ME:Galaxy. It seemed pretty set up for them to be together in ME2, but I guess not. It would have been interesting if she and Jacob were together at the start of ME2...I wonder if she would cheat on Jacob with Shepard...
Missed opportunity for drama--especially if Shepard is still committed to his ME1 LI.
I'm sure Miranda would end up going for Shepard (and Jacob would leave Miranda for FemShep), because the universe revolves around the player character. I admit I'd feel like a big jerk breaking up someone else's relationship, though.

Oh, Shepard, you can save the galaxy, but in a nightclub, you're out of your element.

There's a salarian named Ish on Omega, he is in ME:Galaxy and he obviously knows Miranda & Jacob in ME2. I don't know if you get that dialogue with or without Galaxy linked to your account though.
I got some extra dialogue just by bringing Miranda with me. Which was reason enough for me to do the sidequest. That and the XP. Can never say no to XP. It also sounded like it would feed into the power-struggle-for-Omega thing that might be happening in ME3. (Let's go Patriarch!)
