I do too. But she also has a wonderful character and personality if you get to know her.

Yeah, Spectre training didn't come with a dancing handbook! I demand a 'Dancing' skill tree for ME3!
I wouldn't mind a dancing skill haha.

However, after playing and completing the game and doing all the loyalty missions, there is something about Tali's character which i do not really like, bucket head or not. Does it not bother any one that Tali is a bigot and desires for racial genocide in the Geth as well as wanting to "save face" in protecting her father's work at all costs even if that meant lying?
Yes, as a person and as i play my main Shepard character, i am uncomfortable with racism and a need to constantly "save face" to the point of outright deception. While i sympathised with the death of the characters's father (which was really quite touching and sad especially since i am a parent and can empathise), her blindless unthinking devotion and loyalty to her father and her race just puts me off. Bigotry, Xenophobia, Prejudice and a need to put up a "good front" does that to me.
Miranda, for all the "Ice Queen" and whatever nonsense gets thrown her character's way, is not really like that as the story moved along.
This. I don't get people who constantly spout that Tali is a really sincere and honest character when it's obvious by her actions in the Migrant fleet and her prejudice against the Geth that she's a hypocrite and would never admit it. I get that she lost her father and she loved him, but she should let her people know of his mistakes, since they affect not only her but her whole people. This was a grave error in judgement on her part, IMO, and she'll never admit it, as far as I can tell.
Those things also put me off, because she spends all her time putting this front of how sweet and honest she is, but when it comes down to it, she caves and does not live up to her own standarts.
Now, this does not mean I like flawless characters. I like it when characters have flaws but are up front about them. I don't like it when people try to decieve by their words and are proven different by their actions.
That's another reason why I love Miranda's character. She has flaws, but at least she's honest with Shepard from the beginning. She tells him what she thinks outright, without the need for any kind of deception to get anyone on her side, or pretending to be something she's not.

Mirimaniacs?
Although somehow, being a fan of a video game character seems a bit immature. And that at my age (which may just be more than double the average of others in this forum).
But who cares. Miranda is irresistible. Competent, confident *and* sexy, with a little ruthlessness and vulnerability added in. I like Tali, too, but she's got no chance against Miranda!

She's alright but a quite a shallowly written character especially in comparison to Ashley.
She's a perfectly constructed ice queen who secretly cares for her sister. THE END.
At least she is with female Shepard maybe you get more by doing the romance plot with male Shepard.
At least Miranda doesn't share Ashley's 'faith'. I liked Ashley OK till I found out she was a holy roller... that was a deal breaker for me personally. Besides, the Asari scene was better than Ashley's, but Miranda's was better than both of those put together.

Hmm. I've already said it on the old forums, but I'm fairly critical of religion in RL (even politically active that way) but I had no problems with Ashley in ME1, so I really don't understand how this can be a "deal breaker". But yes, Miranda expressing no religious attachments is preferable. Very much preferable.Clumsy Ninja wrote...
