Agree,I let my boy Garrus use sniper while Miranda backs me up with her health/damage boost and her biotic combo with mine.

Everyone eventually uses an assault rifle for the final cutscenes.

Jskills - you're running the same setup I use all the time. Garrus to pick off people with his sniper while Miranda and I make the push up the middle. 

I guess great minds think alike.Seriously though I had Garrus in my squad since ME1 and didn't change since,but instead of Ash it's Miri.

Yeah Garrus and Miri is on my squad usually 90% of the time, but that might have to do with the romance being Miri and Bromance with Garrus

Same here but instead it's the cabin in the mountains while snowing,infront of a fireplace place feel while drinking hot coco.

In my first playthroughs of ME1 - I did the same thing. I ran with Kaidan and Ashley all the damn time up til Virmire.. then Garrus came to light during Illos and Citadel.

When I heard that there would be implications for cheating on your LI from ME1 (Which was Ash for me) - I immediately went to work on doing a complete playthrough of Mass Effect 1 with the sole intention of toasting Ashley.

No way I'm going to pay for falling for a well developed and fellow Nacho lover like Miri.

Ash and Kaidan were a great team it was a rather rude shock to have to kill one of them off. Then I had to choose what I wanted more: biotics or tech and had to go with Tali'Zorah. Kaidan died with some of the best gear on also. Stupid lack of spoilers.

i use thane and miranda to smoke up collectors. 3 warps (as a sentinel) just tear apart the fabric of reality.

Me too. I've hardly even been looking at the rest of this forum since this thread got up and running.

Oh, and for the record my ME1 squad was always Ash/Liara. On ME2 it's usually just Miri+Garrus or Legion.

They probably would've mentioned that when we met them for that brief moment, kinda OT though I wish I had an option to tell Ash that it was only a one night stand and that I've moved on...

I take Thane and Miranda with me usually. I started doing it just to get the achievement where you have to use multiple biotics (I play as infiltrator). I use Thane to pull multiple targets and Miranda to use heavy overload or warp while I use incinerate the other one. It's like shooting fish in a barrel. And even after I got the achievement I kept them as a team because they work so well together. Thane's sniper ability is super handy too.

Another great combo is Miri/Mordin in my opinion. He comes in pretty handy at times.

There likey coming back in ME3 anyway Bioware said they would,they also said they would be consquinces if didn't stay loyal to your ME1 LI,and the baby theory would be a consquince.Anyway I take my chances with Miri anyway,she's more suited for me.
