What do you mean touchy scenes? It will be all about Miranda, normal scenes as well as touchy scenes.

OMG, i left last night and it was like 41 pages. Now its going on 70! Nice Keep up the support. Judging from caseys comments, i can put my mind at rest worrying about my surviving squad, and Miranda in particular. Looks like i will have my surviving squad in ME3 as squad mates! Can't wait!
Also, anyone have any Shepard/Miranda wallpapers? That'd be nice to use. Just putting that out there. And if not, give me some hi-res shots and i can make some. If any are interested.

Just an observation I'm going to share;



One of the things mentioned in an interview with BW was that they were already writing up new squad members for Mass Effect 3.



While that comment could send anyone to the "NO! Don't take my Miranda away!" train - contemplate this. Not everyone got out of the suicide mission alive. You might have lost someone - or thousands of other people might've lost someone.



I do believe that any "new" squadmembers making any appearance would be fillers. People to make up for the lost talent that you lose during the suicide mission.



Least I hope.

We can only really hope so at this point Rathias. The hardest part about ME3 is all the different scenarios that could follow the suicide mission.

If they would replace they dead ones for fillers they should atleast make them intresting,not some copy and paste ablities.

And the comments casey made on the interview linked in the previous page i believe. He said that the biggest thing in ME3 will be playing with and experiencing the surviving squad members from ME2. I guess that means they're still out squad.

Given the overwhelming consensus of all vocal fans, sidelining the ME1 and ME2 survivors in ME3 would be a dangerous and stupid move.  That is the one thing that could easily destroy ME3.  So seeing as how the desire for continuity is nearly universal, I don't see how Bioware could excuse such a poor decision.

Miranda makes me want to check out Chuck. Judging by this thread, I'm not alone. My preference is FemShep, but as soon as I saw Miranda, I decided I would have to play through both games again as a male. I didn't regret it, even though it meant suffering the Mako. TBH, I thought she was going to be a villain at first, but from the moment she shot Wilson, I was thinking to myself "I like her." The scene where she introduces herself to her sister just cinched it. I got very choked up. And "consider this my resignation" was probably my favorite line in the game. My only criticism is that I wanted a more tender, romantic love scene, but there was enough emotion before that to make up for it.



One thing I liked about Miranda was that she was an adult and she acted like it. A lot of Bioware romances squick me because of the power imbalance. Tali hero worships me and is barely out of her teens Jack is so damaged, I'm not sure she really can give meaningful consent. Miranda has issues, but I felt like her romance was a meeting of equals.



I don't expect her to return as a squadmate, but some kind of grand, romantic reunion would be appreciated. Running into your arms and kissing you as the music swells, etc.

I know I feel the same. Funny also 'cause I always thought CG rendered Miranda looked less like Yvonne than her in game counter-part. At least I'm glad it's not the opposite lol.
