in my mind he was poorly integrated in the game , i know he s a DLC but so was Shale in DA:O and Shale had conversations with you unlike Zaeed which only does monologues ,true that in DA:O your character is nt really speaking tho
So not very many people like Zaeed then?

He's an oasis of sanity in the SR2 Daddy Issues. I wish I had more like him.

Kasumi?! When she be coming out?
If rumours be true fairly soon... as someone earlier in the week stated that on Bioware's Twitter (I don't use twitter so can't confirm) that 2 DLCs would be coming out in the next couple of weeks.
One is most likely to be the Hammerhead as that has been touted as fairly soon after launch from the get go and am assuming the other is Kasumi.
I reckon she is already fairly integrated into the game because one of the news reports that can be heard whilst walking through Ilium is of an omni-gel tool being stolen before it was due to be shown at an expo and the alleged thief is a human named Kasumi

I liked him, a lot. Brought him on a lot of missions, his dry cynicism fits with the tone of the game, I found.
Curious parallel: Bring down the sky... you also had a choice to kill the batarian terrorist and let the hostages die. A lot felt it was justified sacrifice. I'd wager colonist background Shepards (home and family destroyed by batarian slavers) would succumb to revenge even if they were trying to hold to the paragon path. Zaeed's life were ruined by that blue suns leader in much simular way... lost his mercenaries, (might had to watch his ideals being ground to dust, as batarians(slavers) were allowed in blue suns), got shot in the head point blank. Heck, I could understand his need for revenge

I liked him. The only thing I didn't like was the inability to have a proper conversation with him on The Normandy.

I like cliché badass characters. Zaeed is kicking ass, but like most people said. Lack of character interaction just made him outsider.

I liked him too.
I even picked him to lead the distraction team on the Collector Base.... and because of that he died in my arms! XD .. "shouldv'e known it would've ended something like this" ... such a Zaeed-thing to say ^^

Cool name.
I just don't like 'old looking' people.

I didn't like Zaeed - but I like having him in game. He's a nice written character, even though he's a proper Richard.

I loved Zaeed. He reminded me of a Crocodile Dundee but with a much more badass bravado. His grenade is awesome when you level it up to explode 6 fragments. He's almost like a Boba Fett to me. I loved his accent and his scars. To me, he was truly the only badass on my ship. Grunt was genetically enhanced, as was Jack. But Jack's loyalty mission clearly stated she was still a scared lil girl. If Zaeed could have been romanced by a femshep I wonder how many girls would go after this bad boy?

The downside of having him is you can't have a proper conversation with him. Do you think it's because BW lacks the time to fully develop this?

I like the character I just think he suffered from not having any actual dialogue on the ship.

I liked him, I just wish that they'd developed his character more. He reminded me of my favorite Bioware character, Canderous Ordo, but a watered down version.
Now, if I could get THAT guy into my party in ME2, this game would be a lot more fun. : )

I liked him. His Dialogue, while not really dialogue, was pretty interesting. Also liked his accent and to me he sounded a lot like the guy who voiced Saul Karath and Harrowmont (don't think it was the same Voice Actor though...)

I thought his whole set up was flimsy, Who the heck excepts money on a suicide mission?

his abilities are useless, you could use someone else with the same abilities that contributes something else to the squad. Other than escorting Normandy crew back and his loyalty mission, I haven't used him for anything.
His character is just too bland, it seems like there should be more to him.

Im curious, was he voiced by Templeman aka: Loghain from DA:O because he sounds "very" akin to him.

I like, wait, I LOVE Zaeed. Used him the most out of everyone. His stories are always entertaining, and his design simply spells badass. What else can you ask for? Ah yes, a conversation wheel.
You see most of the voices against my favorite veteran do not lie in his personality or lack thereof, but the simply fact that he is a DLC character and thus, does not get the fair treatment he deserves. Let's hope Bioware realize this and flesh him out more for ME3.

I liked him, but I can understand why some would not. He has a good loyalty mission I think, and he is okay for taking on N7 missions, but I rarely take him on anything because I usually kill him off in the final mission. It just seems like that is the role he fits best, to be that one bad ass guy who got out of every suicide mission he was ever on, only to die on this one.
I'd recommend taking him to quests you do that involve the Blue Suns though.

I like Zaeed. I do wish he had dialoge trees like the rest of the crew but conversely I wish the rest of the crew had momentos around there cabins or work areas like Zaeed had. Also I wished that he had a third tier weapon upgrade option like Grunt or Legion. Zaeed would rock if he had the Revenant because a heavy machine gun fits his personality.
