More Guns(But not a bunch of guns that do the same thing like in ME1)
Needs a Toggle helmet button
More returning powers (What happened to immunity, shield boost, dampening etc?)
Ability to talk to Zaied (cant spell, the DLC team mate)
More casual outfit choices
More crap to put in your room (theres alot to put there but I want more)
Fireball spell (not really)
More tedius feeding of pets, we need to feed our hamster as well, and we need a dog (not really)
Drunk conversation needed (if we are allowed to get drunk we need to act drunk)

Let the characters walk around if they want to . Fact is - there's an administrative assistant standing around who should be able to call any character I want to the briefing room to talk....and also a sandwich and a cup of coffee.

I hated planet scanning and driving the ship around. They were a hassle. I know that upgrading your stuff is optional, but "optional" isn't a reason to neglect making something fun and not a time-consuming chore. For minerals, at least on the PC, you just randomly wave your mouse around either slowly or violently, hoping to get a spike. That's all it is. And there's almost never any indication of what resources you'll be able to easily get from each planet if you want to wait till you can count how many of the resource you actually need for the upgrades you want, which I didn't do but wish I could've done to avoid all that planet scanning I ended up doing.

I would've liked it better if the scanner gave feedback on nodes from farther away from the highest spike to reduce all the random mouse moving currently required. Less to have to find for the same resources would be good, too, along with getting rid of those small quantity mineral spikes to irritate me as I randomly look for bigger finds.

I liked pretty much everything else, though. Probably. No complaints about the inventory, stats, combat, etc. They're all improvements over the first game to me. I just wish i could spend more time with the shooting and the talking without having it interrupted by long stretches of violently shaking a mouse over the surface of a bunch of planets.

Here is my humble opinion::unsure:

Squadmates:
-Not enough squadmate interactions. I would have loved more dialogues between squadmates.
Like some jealousy if you tried to romance 2 peoples at the same time. Perhaps
they could fight, or quit Shepard. At least some reaction.

- I would have loved  situations when the squad members disagree on something between them (in a mission perhaps? when one wants to kill someone and the other don’t).

- In a mission when you do something they disagree with the PC (it wasn’t enough showed in ME2).

- They could interact with object or locations in the Normandy or other. Like: finding a squadmate dining or in the restroom. I could bring some funny dialogs.

-Have them say more things. More dialog, deeper dialog. And perhaps bring back the one-liners from ME1. It was really cool to click on them and a least hear their voice, in ME2 i really felt alone...

-Make their mouth move when their say one-liners please…

-Make some specific missions when in relationship and not the same mission for everyone. And change their behavior in the game if PC and squadie are in a relationship.

-More choice in dialog, not only NO/YES. I really want to know my squadies, or at least try. They could perhaps act all cold until you have their loyalty and tell you more
about themselves.

-Please more alternative armor for squadies. I have seen so really cool artwork of armors (for Jack or thane in occurrence), it would be cool to have that in game.

-Make the crew react to environment, perhaps have they fight (physically or verbally) with some NPC, or appreciate someone. Make the ALIVE lol (for example if they don’t like the attitude of someone they could react. Or if someone speaks with Shep and treat him/her bad, make them react).

Shepard:
- Please add a cooler look for Shep. Armors like the Asari commando in ME1 or when in Normandy, stuff like Aria’s wear or at least more clothes (perhaps more sexy/badass clothes for Sheppard).

- More hair Styles please.

Inventory:
-Please bring back an updated ME1 inventory. I really hated the fact to NOT have one. I loved to choose between armors or weapons, what/for who etc.

Stats:
-Bring back a similar system like ME1, only 4 stages till mastering was a big disappointment for me.

Mako:
-Bring back the mako/hammerhead and perhaps also the scanning.

Loadings:
-I really miss the elevators. They were moments when you could learn more about the crew
and I loved the dialogs.

Helm:
-Please a toggle helm off during conversation choice

Quests:
-Make the choices we do in game more significant. Not only an e-mail.

-More quests, dialogs, things to do, to earn the loyalty of the crew. It was too easy.

-And the mission complete screen was really annoying / immersion breaking…

Thank you very much.

Here is some of my thought after having finish ME2

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-Can't explore the citadel like ME1

-Not enought Interaction With civilians (poorly justified by the fact they don't really like humans now)

-That Helmet problem (it's even worst in cinematic with liara if had romance with her in ME1)

-Grunt's upgrade bug (he is Loyal it's written but can't upgrade his fortification because the game say he's not...)

-When entering the labs of Mordin in Normandy, if start running it launch the upgrade pannel

-Scanning is a great idea, but need improvements, bigger aim, less minerals but bigger quantities, faster

-better discution's ending: End talking=peoples dissapear, or turn back with the same animation....

-Discution's choice sometime unclear: Sometime it think a choice is a question and turn into an ireversible action

-Better interaction with joker (already a big improvment from ME1): his chair rotate and he said the same intro...

-More usefull interaction with SRGT Gardner and Dr Chakwas would be great.

-Uniteraction of the washrooms: (could have been fun to have a cutscene with sheppard going in lady's washroom and oops....Miranda going out of the shower or something like that...

-Uninteraction in the dining room: could have been interesting to have a lunch with all the crew or like a birthday party for sheppard (like Fallout 3 intro, could have been a great time to improve paragon or renegate by some dialog like thank you all or we're in a ship! No time for party! It could have also created a kind of relationship with all the crew so at a certain moment in the game (no spoiler) we could be more attached to a certain cause.

-Uninteraction of the Place the crew sleep: could have been cool to see a mini game there like: come on
sheppard join us we're playing poker, want to play?

-Civiliand and NPC don't move enought: When you walk around anywhere in the game (normandy, Omega,
Citadel, etc...) NPC seems to be freeze where they are. They should move , walking from place to place (like in
Elder Scrolls or Fallout 3. They don't wait where they are, they shop, sleep, eat, drink, live their life in fact. This
should really be concidered for ME3.

-Lack of "outside mission combat": There should be places where you can always fight no mather if you've killed
everyone there before. somewhere like a jungle planet or something, somewhere where we could improve our skills and  team skills. (maby a kind of "Holodeck" Star Trek Style with different simulations)

-Should include DLC where we could go on some planets like in ME1, and from there have some missions.

1. I miss the elavators, I always saw them as more interesting than generic load screens.

2. Planet Scanning was boring and time consuming.

3. I miss the old mods for weapons and having a variety of weapons available.

4. Miss having wrex and felt grunt wasn't a great replacement. I liked having a krogan with Biotics to go with my garrus tech attack. Also, turning wrex into a tank was awesome.

5. Thermal clips suck. Nothing like being a soldier who runs out of ammo in all 5 weapons and has to melee enemies.

6.The end of mission things were annoying and kind of ruined the experience.

7. Grenades need to return.

8. Money was tough to find. Learning curve on the bypass/hack was steep in the beginning.

My only major complaint is not being able to quickly make a character and see what they look like before I commit to going ahead with the playthrough. Instead, we have to wait through the insanely long intro sequence.

basically the that the shooter element of the game is greater than the rpg, thats not really a bad thing but i liked ME1 for its RPG elements, some small things that i find out of place is the mission complete screen and the fact that you dont get experience for killing enemies, also they should have allowed to option to explore planets as well as scanning if your trying to rush,

In playing the PC game, there have been a few things that I would love to see updated, fixed or improved.

1) Garrus's voice during combat is all wrong. It sounds like some excited college kid instead of an angry turian. It seems like the modulation effect that he has during regular dialog is missing. While not a game breaker, it is out of place and somewhat annoying.

2) I can not seem to find the/a gambling area is ME2 to try and increase my credit count. Am I missing something? In addition, it would be great if players had the ability to sell elements for credits at market places around the Terminus System or certain planets. Element Zero would bring in the most because it is harder to find. (ie. 2000 irridium for 1000 credits). There are a lot of upgrades that I can't seem to ever get enough credits for even by completing all the side missions. This would also make exploring that galaxy worth the time spend going to each and every planet if you knew you could gain credits for upgrades from the process.

3. Scanning is an interesting part of

the game, but extremely annoying, time consuming and haphazard. One

thing that would be VERY helpful in an advanced ship such as the

normandy (by default or via an ungrade) is the abilty to show the user

the percentage of each element on the planet (perhaps above or below

the respective columns). Thus, say I am really in need of element zero.

I can orbit a planet, look at the scan and it says Good (100%) and then

displays percentages such as (10%, 20%, 50%, 20%). Thus, I am not

likely to local alot of element zero on that planet. But, as I send in

the probes, these percentages can constantly update so I can see how

much of each is remaining AS the overall precentage continues to go

down (the percentage listed by Good). For example, after 20 probes,

I am down to Poor (20%) with an element distribution remaning of (5%,

30%, 20%, 45%). At the very least, please include the percentage next

to the RICH, GOOD so you can see about how much of the total you have

aquired and how much is left.

4. I want gun stats! when going to the weapons locker, it would be nice

to see the different attributions of the different weapons in a class

(damage, accuracy, effective distance, ammo capacity....) As it is now,

I can't really tell other then always go with the gun on the bottom.

For an RPG game, not showing critical stats such as this is inexcusable.

5. Squad Member stats. At the terminal on the normandy and when choosing

members for a mission, along with their loyalty, abilities and weapons,

you need to also display their: heath, shields, biotic strength... How

can I effective select a member for a mission with out this? If I know

I am going to be in a dog fight, I want to take people with high health

ratings. As it, I can't immediately figure this out.

4.

Increase the display box for the missions/assignments and the codex.

Why with todays technology and graphics am I only able to see 4 lines

at a time? Common people. There are tons of wasted space there. Double

the size and fill it in.

I hate that some of the paragon options in ME2 have Shepard acting like a renegade from ME1. Seriously, when should a persuade option (the blue ones) result in Shepard threatening to break an NPC's legs unless he does what Shepard wants him to? Or having paragon interrupts that make Shepard threaten a cop...what's up with that?

I have other gripes, but that's the one that's really annoying me today.

Planet scanning timesink is boring as hell.  Missions are too short and easy to blast through ( which is likely the reason for the scanning time sink).  Recieving messages at the private terminal that don't lead to anything, apart from the few thankyou notes of course.  As an example, Emily Wong asking you to look her up but no way to do so.  Lack of meaningful interaction with previous team ( In ME1 I bonded with Liara, did she have a kid? where is it? If bonding for an Asari is that meaningful wouldn't she want you to know etc. ).  Preffered the armour and weapons choices from ME1 rather than the one size fits all model with ME2 and finally way too many empty planets that are just there for eye candy and scanning purposes, if any game were made to have user created content this is it.

I hope that when ME3 is released Bioware also open up the game for the community to add missions etc.  Fallout 3 has been out for a long time now but the community is still vibrant and productive, ME could be the same if Bioware supply the tools.

Oh one more thing.  I still can't just put a bullet in Udina's head.  Here's hoping for ME3 as that guy just needs to take the long sleep :)

I don't like the combat in comparison to the first game.  Basically you enter a big area, for some reason the enemies always apparently just arrived as well. You both get behind waist-high boxes or obstacles and pop up over and over to shoot each other. This is every combat sequence ever. This is why the shotgun sucks in this game and the sniper rifle is way better.

Needs less waist-high boxes, more enclosed spaces, enemies actually already being stationed in an area before you enter, more walls and such so it's not always just looking across a huge empty space to snipe people, etc.

I actually missed the dialog between members during the elevator scenes. I believe instead of removing them, they should have just improved them. And another thing I didn't like was the lack of Presidium I got to see in ME 2.

Exactly, why couldn't they have implemented some dialogue there, or something to make that fun.
We still have loading screens, just not in an elevator.

Squad interactivity between themselves - I really don't get why they didn't do what Dragon Age did and have them do mini discussions in cities at certain places, it was fun hearing the different combinations in DA. To me that was the perfect improvement over ME1's elevators.

Weapons/Armour - I actually like the streamlined version, I just hope they add more of them in DLC. Plus as millions of other people have said, toggle helmet option plz. Never use any DLC armour because of it (plus you can make the normal armour better in stats ... but yeah).  And squad armour options would be nice.

Ammo - I wish you could upgrade your overall ammo capacity once or twice, since there's only one armour piece that increases it.

Also, why do a majority of dialogue choices only have a 'neutral' and 'renegade' option? The middle one tends to come out 'paragon' but it was kind of weird only have 2 options a lot of the time.

Hopefully this doesn't come across as whining, the game is awesome. Just started my 3rd playthrough.

1. Playing a biotic is not much fun anymore. Shame really as this ability greatly distinguishes MA from just another shooter (as far as combat is concerned).

2. Planet scanning - everyones said it before.

3. End of mission splash screens, a real immersion breaker.

4. Not being able to turn excess resources into needed cash.

5. Thermal clips. Just make it a pure ammo system and be done with it.

6. Meeting ones love interest from ME 1, which all ended up meaningless.

7. Having to push the shoulder button to bring up the radar.

1) Planet Scanning (I'm the commander of the ship and I have to do this, don't I have a scanning officer/peon?) Face it you will not be able to make exploration/mining interesting. It's not that exciting irl why do you think it will be in space?

2) Not enough quests on "hub" planets. I would love it if we didn't have to wander the galaxy scanning "unexplored" planets for anomalies. Increase the quests available at the main planets ten-fold, give me the chance to find sidequests by overhearing conversations, listening to the news, talking to various contacts, getting email and then flying out into the terminus systems and locating the ship/base/etc (similar to ME1).  ME2 needed more quests unrelated to my companions AND more quests about my companions that have nothing to do with their main quest.

3) The companion quests were too short and didn't have any real impact.

4) The alternative outfits for the characters were uninspired (black instead of white clothes, really?).

5) The entire game felt emotionally flat and unengaging. I didn't care about my team...With the exception of Garrus and Tali. The two characters who I have been with for 2 games. Not a coincidence that;  when I went through the climactic mission Tali died and I was really pissed off. Two others did to but I was really upset about her death, we had a history together.

6) The fact that Wrex, Ashley/Kaiden, and Liara are not recruitable. Oh and that your LI from the first game is nonchalant about your being alive.

7) That I receive emails from a lot of minor characters from ME1 thanking me/whatever but none of the characters have additional sidequests. Like I need some emailed pat on the back! I get enough spam irl I don't need it in a game.

8) That there wasn't an emotionally impactful relationship/love interest.

9) If I don't have an imported character that I don't get to just go through a check list and mark off how I played the first game.

10) The game was waaaaay too short and didn't expand on ME1, I expect sequels to be longer not shorter. I played every sidequest, scanned every planet and it still only took me 25 hours to complete. I don't want filler missions (more planets to scan, mako driving, generic bases/ships) but I do want to have longer quest chains. I hate to bring up rival developers but I would like something similar to the quests in the Elder Scrolls, multiple class quests, multiple background quests, quest chains longer than 2. How about letting Shepherd explore the history of the last two years and come to terms with the fact that he/she has been dead for that long?

when i was doing the final part and tali died i freaked out and restarted the entire mission. i am all about Tali! and thats kinda the main reason i bought ME2 that and for biotic charge. and when i restarted the mission it was on insanity so it was a pain in the ass restarting it but it was better than having Tali be dead. this time around she lived WOOT!

oh ya one thing i didnt like is there wasnt much talking for your squad mates like in ME 1. like for intance with tali she doesnt say much unless your romancing her. i mean for real.. i was gone for 2 years. tell me what you did how it went and stuff like that. *SPOILER* for isntance with garrus and how he tells you he went to kill mercs and stuff. then in the same quest he tells you how he tried to get all the leaders before but couldnt. but after that theres nothing. he could of explained some missions he was on in detail or asked you about being gone for 2 years and do you feel any diffrent from before getting rebuilt by cerburus. but i think watching Legion do the robot dance and make his own sound effects made up for a good bit of it. i almost died laughing watching him dance. anyone enjoy Legion dancing?
