I live in United Kingdom and I pre-ordered hard-copies of Dragon Age: Origins GAME Exclusive Collector's Edition (PC game) from Game.co.uk on 2nd November 2009 and Dragon Age: Origins (with Play.com Exclusive 'Feral Wolf Charm' Unlock & 'Memory Band' Unlock) (PC game) from Play.com on 26th September 2009.
Today is the official release date for the game in Europe and so far (13:47 GMT) I have received absolutely nothing! Having contacted both Game.co.uk and Play.com, both companies have confirmed that the respective order has been posted and all I can do is wait for each delivery to arrive.
However, upon asking about the codes for the bonus pre-order items, both Game.co.uk and Play.com stated that they are awaiting the codes from the supplier/publisher, and that, hopefully, they will be able to email the codes to meonce they actually receive them!
So, who exactly is responsible for distributing the pre-order item codes to the various retail stores? Why have these codes not been sent to the individual retailers before today? Or are both Game.co.uk and Play.com making excuses for their own errors? If so, then it's a little strange that both companies are using the same excuse!
Anyone else in United Kingdom/Europe experiencing the same problem? Anyone in United Kingdom/Europe who pre-ordered from either Game.co.uk or Play.com who have received the codes for the pre-order bonus items?
EDIT: Corrected formatting applied by the forum!
