How is "DLC" any different from a sequel, bub? It's the devs changing or adding something to the game after the game was released.

Changing what we already have is a cheap cop out.
If you disagree with this then I am not sure what else to say

God forbid, you should hit on someone of the same gender and find out that they don't return your feelings.
Rather than accept that, you think that either A.) God [Bioware] messed them up, or B.) Continuing to pester them will make them change their orientation [wait between ME2 and ME3].
Is it REALLY that hard to roleplay a lesbian Shepard who happened to fall in love with a straight woman?

Yeah this is my other part of the argument but people just see I am against it when I do try and offer solutions, solutions that could work in either case.Nautica773 wrote...

Actually, I think DLC is a pretty poor format to bring it in. First, DLC rarely has the content or polish as the final product of a full game. Second, wouldn't you rather it be part of the main experience in ME3 then some optional addon tacked in a year or so later?

Yes, because that's not what happened. BioWare messed up (notice the lack of them) by having 0 non-romantic dialog for romance interests. My Shephard ends up with less Tali because somewhere in the vastness of space some other Male Shephard is getting it on with her. Fine. I'd love for them to record more neutral dialog as a best-case resolution, but they won't. The lesser-evil (while still being plenty consistent with her character) is to make her a love-interest for either Shep.
if you want to promote them making small changes and charging five bucks for another 4-6 minutes of dialog go ahead.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...

So, are you upset about the Hammerhead DLC? It will change parts of the game we already have.
Are you upset about Zaeed? He adds another person to the final team that wasn't there before.
How is adding a DLC that makes Tali see femSheps in a more romantic way any different from a DLC that throws a random new character into the suicide mission that wasn't available before?
What are you even talking about?HAGA NAGA wrote...

your words are poison. lies. deception. the problem is that you think you are way smarter than you actually are. the truth is that your're very obvious. and another thing, you're getting sloppier it seems. have you been drinking mayhaps? you were a bit more crafty the other night when you were trying to derail the other "pro female" thread. i think you must have some pent up anger against women or something, i don't know. But, your motivations are weird and "wrong" whatever they are.

I figured your "side" had loftier goals than that but okay you win.

These reasons are arbitrary, yes. But by no means i'd consider them 'not apparent' -- if she shows no sign of willing to take things further then it doesn't take rocket scientist to figure out why.Kolaris8472 wrote...
In my playthrough universe, Shephard and Tali are very close and then it starts looping for arbitrary reasons.

To be honest if people actually read my posts and see that I would love to see a m/m romance and even a f/f one, I just think the notion of changing a current character is not the right way to do it, but if you so feel inclined go ahead. I have been beating my head against these kinds of posts because people are quick to spout homophobia when I am one of the few people trying to include everyone and not just because I think it be cool to bang Tali with my fem shep.jlb524 wrote...
That's how you appear to me. I don't know if it's true, but I threw it out there. Others getting their way may conflict with things you want and are already receiving. More f/f or m/m options may mean less straight options.

Consistent with her character? Or consistent with satisfying your desires? I'm sorry, I don't buy this bit about being in favor of 'fixing' the game as your motivation.
My ultimate interest is equality and I am sorry if that was a dodge. I thought I answered your question but I am getting gang banged here so I may have missed it.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...

And as you should note from my sig, I don't care about making Tali romanceable for females. I was trying to figure out your interest in arguing with those who do.
One is just repurposed content that adds what maybe ten minutes to a game while the other adds new characters new missions, new art assets, new voices, new stories.Mystranna Kelteel wrote...
