Femsheps get the talky-talky smooch smooch scenes and malesheps get the "climb aboard" scenes.

Come on, Bioware. Mordin gave me a list of "pleasing positions" for Tali. Let me go down the frickin' list!

Err...that wasn't my question.  I could care less what Tali looks like or if people will find her attractive or not. 

There are people wanting it now in a DLC...do you take issue with them?  Do you post a lot in those threads, arguing against them?

I, at least, wasn't aware that there were DLC threads.

However, whenever a "Show Tali's face" or "Show Quarians" thread comes up, I'll typically just go in and post something like:

"Show Quarians, yes. Tali specifically, no. While it would be gimmicky of Bioware to leave Quarians completely unseen, it would also be a risk to show Tali and make half the fanbase pissed because she's not what they expected."

I have shown both you and Mystranna respect as posters but his constant questioning is bothersome. What is it you actually want me to say, or do you not think that my DLC idea would be fitting for your tastes?

Those people tend not to argue so viciously, and will acknowledge others' viewpoints, at least in my experience. So you probably won't, actually.

Considering the nasty fights I saw over if she was a virgin or not some of that fan base probably needs a reality check regardless.

Very, very true. Most importantly, there's no excuse to give 2 (ugly) alien, and only 1 human romance. When I read that, I already thought: What? BioWare can't be serious? You could count Kelly, but that romance isn't detailed enough. Why not show us the dinner for example (and yes, I primarily mean the talking part)? Why just black out the screen? We got the drinking scene with Chakwas too after all.

I don't have any interest in seeing my female Shepard have a romance with an ugly fish dude. But I saw the Garrus romance, and that wasn't even done well. Besides the normal talk that everyone gets, what's there to the romance? A little talk about if and how they could "do" it, then later they "do it". That's it. After it, not even a talk.

At least we got the old romances via the picture on the desk. I swear, that scene with Shepard holding the picture was more interesting and touching than any of the new romances I've seen so far - mainly because of the memories it brings back from the ME 1 romances, which while not perfect, were done and integrated very well.

You or one of you asked me about the DLC and I gave my two cents on what I would like to see. You ask me about Tali I tell you? I really don;t have much of an opinion other than I think it should be ME3 and not a DLC. But I don't make that call... what more do you want me to say?

What exactly are you asking me? I post in those threads, and no one says "OMG YOU ARE WRONG THEY SHOULD SHOW HER RELEASE DLC THE LOVE SCENE WAS OBVIOUSLY MEANT TO SHOW HER FACE BIOWARE MESSED UP". It is only on these threads -- of which there literally is at least one a day, that is true (trust me, I've been debating this point since Wednesday), or one devolves into this issue.

I am not upset about them, I think they are short sighted.

I offered my idea that would appeal to the most consumers but you just glossed over it.  Also the later two are not really things I particularly care about because they don't address a larger issue at work here.  The small picture is I want to romance blank current character make it happen.  The big picture is that your want does not equal my want, or that want, or everyone's want, so if we go with yours then we anger those that want something else.  But if we do something new than it is all equal for everyone.  on top of that we have a glaring lack of male + male in the game we should fix that, wait we can do a duo of characters and release them as on DLC pack with new recruitment, loyalty missions.  Do new artwork, new art assets, and voices.  Plus new stories.

Wow that seems to add way more bang to the buck.

That is what I have said.  I try to say it.  I argue because people are too short sighted, but maybe I am just too big picture.

Playing a female Shepard is terrible in ME2, the love interest choice are terrible. Jacob is boring and too nice, Garrus has a half blown up face and too much of a friend, and Thane is awesome and cool but I'll pass on mating with a half fish, half lizard. Looks like hell raiser. Why couldnt I get Jack, Miranda, or Tali. I really wanted Tali. Come on Bioware seriously, with what you made possible in Dragon Age you are going to run away and be forced to be traditional and boring. For shame. 

Agree 100 %.

ME 2 is a great game, overall. But romance sub plot is disappointing. For female Shepard.
